I decided to try the bing wrap for the first time, and boy, did I regret it instantly. As I watched the employees layer each ingredient on top of each other, I thought, this is not going to end well. What they should have done was spread it out a bit so that you get the most ingredients with each bite. Also, I didn’t have the chance to tell her that I wanted rice. Instead, the woman walked over and grabbed mixed greens to start with. I didn’t even ask for that, but I also didn’t mind. I thought she would ask me if I wanted rice, but since she didn’t I thought I could only get the mixed greens. Then I asked her what cut of steak it was. She didn’t know so she had to ask another worker, who also didn’t know and had to walk back to the kitchen to ask. While waiting, I told her that I’ll just go with the steak. I wouldn’t recommend it now because it was overly seasoned with salt and there were some fatty parts that I couldn’t chew and had to spit out. The broccoli that they use are big chunks. This is a minor issue, but they should considering cutting it up to smaller pieces so that you don’t have the bulk in the wrap. Finally, as I watched the guy finish it off by wrapping it, I knew it was a struggle. It was overly bulky in the center and he had a hard time wrapping it. I knew that once I started biting into it, it would be a mess. Well, I followed the instructions for how to peel and unwrap the foil as you go, but this wrap was bound to fall apart and get messy. It was such a sloppy wrap. I couldn’t even get halfway through the wrap so I took the rest home. Fast forward to today, and I decided to finish my leftovers, since I paid $13 for it and didn’t want it to go to waste. When I got to the bottom of the wrap, that’s where all the steak chunks and sauce was. With each bite, pieces were falling off and sauce was dripping. All in all, there’s much room for improvement with this business. I think they should re-train their employees on how to neatly assemble and close the wraps. It would go a long way. Prices are high, so consumer satisfaction is all the...

I ordered one of their "bings" a burrito using a scallion pancake instead of a tortilla. I made my own, which I think is the only way to do it, I dont think there are pre-made options available, which is a shame considering the number of mistakes.

I asked for seaweed salad in it. There was none. I didn't ask for edamamde, there was some. I definitely didn't ask for cilantro because I've got that thing where cilantro tastes like soap, so that flavor was extremely present all throughout.

Besides the mistakes, the scallion pancake was thin and rubbery, so it both didn't hold together when I tried to pick it up and was difficult to pull apart with my fork.

I got a side of "shrimp chips" having no idea what they could possibly be, and what I wasn't expecting were this big puffy discs of... frankly I'm not sure what. What I do know is that they needed salt pretty badly and that they kind of fizzled on my tongue, and I couldn't bring myself to have more than one or two.

Lastly I got the yuzu lemonade. Ive been hearing all about how yuzu is being used in everything lately so I was kind of excited to try it. And I cant day for certain what's in it, but it tastes like there's artificial sugar. Fake sweetener has a very distinct taste and im pretty sure I taste it in here, either that or yuzu just doesn't taste like I thought it would.

Nevertheless, this was a mess, I wasn't expecting the best, and yet im left depressed.

The pickled cucumbers were...

If you’re in Lancaster and craving something different, look no further than Silantra! Imagine the beloved Chipotle, but with a delightful twist: instead of a hefty flour tortilla, they wrap your meal in a Jian Bang, which as they told me, it is a savory Chinese street food that’s like a crepe’s more adventurous cousin!

At first, I’ll admit, it felt a bit odd munching on what looked like a “burrito” with a super thin wrap. But let me tell you, that feeling didn’t last long. As I took my first few bites, I was pleasantly surprised by the burst of flavors! The Jian Bang is light yet holds all the delicious fillings beautifully, so you can enjoy every savory morsel without feeling weighed down.

The best part? No more tortilla overload! You know how sometimes you’re left wrestling with a giant burrito that feels like it’s trying to take over your life? Not here! The Jian Bang lets the fillings shine while keeping everything perfectly balanced.

With a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from, Silantra is a playground for your taste buds. Whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or just someone who loves to mix it up, there’s something for everyone.

Overall, I give Silantra a 4 out of 5 stars! If you’re looking for a fun dining experience that breaks the burrito mold, this place is definitely worth a visit. Get ready to roll (or should I say wrap?) into a new...

We're lonnnnnnng time fans of the downtown location: and this location is just as good but better because it has beer! Reid (Reed?) is a phenomenal team member who made everyone who walked in the door feel welcome. Not only was he quick and attentive, he was so polite with his words and demeanor. We live downtown so it's a hard choice, but I think I'd wanna come up here instead! I get a coconut white rice and steak bowl 9 out of 10 times (the 10th is just a bing), and 10 out of 10 times it's amazing. Keep it up Silantra team! So thankful for you in the Lancaster dining culture! Also, folks, read the instructions at the table for how to eat a bing! It's life-changing and reminds you that it may look like a burrito but it's a whole different animal.
