Kinfolks — Restaurant in Manitou Springs

Do not let your friends go to this place. They will over serve them. To the point of being a pedestrian is a fatality possible situation. I am a licensed mixologist in the state of Washington, and the condition my friend left this bar in is disgusting and dangerous for the public. I'll be sharing the video with the alcohol beverage agency in the morning. I pray that they remove the license from this establishment pronto. After my emotionally influenced review , information was revealed to free the establishment from most of the blame. My friend received multiple shots from the room full of customers. I still believe that the number of customers shows quality of operations. With this, it would be best to have more staff to help track the poured shots so social Drinks aren't hazardous for over consumption. Pouring shots for sharing with a buddy needs confirmation that the" buddy " is not the same "buddy" of the next five different people in line. So I waited outside. When my friend obviously showed signs that he had enough. I wasn't aware that extra shots afterward would come from all directions besides the bartender. Sorry for blaming the establishment. I reviewed this establishment while blood dripped and the emotions affected by it. Fun place. ...

It was cute when we walked in but after that it all went down hill. We asked for a drink menu and the bartender told us the entire list was out of date due to "new owners". I asked for a bourbon cocktail and she said she really couldn't make anything except maybe a Manhattan. We got 2 of those. I'm 99% sure there were no bitters used. We were going to be polite and just order a beer before leaving, but the ONLY bartender stepped outside to chainsmoke with a friend leaving the entire bar unattended. When she finally came back in she reeked of smoke and could be heard continuing to talk badly about the new ownership. Needless to stay we did not stick around for that beer. This place is 100% grade A Garbage. Don't even waste your time. I'd rather get trashed at a waffle House on my own dime. There's no AC so it gets super hot in there. Drinks were sloppy and the bartenders are just too worried about making out with each other. They try to have music played in there but the house DJ (DJ slim Jim) thought he was top tier mixing but in reality was playing subpar trashy music with a terrible sound system.
