Tara's Floral Expressions — Local services in Mansfield

I was hesitant to write a review, but since it happened for the second time, I feel it needs to be done. Last year we ordered a Deluxe Bouquet for Mother’s Day, delivered was the standard with old Lilys (literally dead after day 2, not one closed bud). This was apologized as a mistake and the correct size bouquet with fresh flowers send out. Great, so I thought, give them another chance we ordered another Deluxe Bouquet this year. Yes I ordered through their cocompany Teleflora, to use up some points. Delivered was a joke, a much downgraded bouquet with seemingly again older flowers for the most part. After contacting the flower shop, I was told that Teleflora didn’t give them enough money to deliver what was ordered. So an adjusted but very nice bouquet was delivered. I beg to differ. Seeing all the beautiful bouquets they made for others, this was rather disappointing. Not once was I contacted that there was an issue, the pictures I send, might not be the best, but will give everyone an idea what was ordered vs delivered. The pictures don’t show the vase, which was as promised, but I believe are self explaining. The issue was taken care of after the fact in a refund, but doesn’t make up for yet a frustrating mothers Day. Also I felt the shop did not acknowledge the bigger issue, no communication when things didn’t add up....

I live out of state & wanted to use a local florist to send flowers to my sister & her husband for their 50th wedding anniversary. When I called Tara’s I specifically said several times I wanted something special & suggested yellow roses since it was their golden anniversary. I said $75 as a price point , but said I wanted it to be beautiful. They asked me any other flower & I said it could be their designers choice. They mentioned spraying some greenery gold & adding that. With tax & delivery it was $90+. Imagine my disappointment when my sister sent me a text with pictures of the arrangement with only 5 yellow roses & green filler, & some type of white flowers I had no idea what they were. When I called the man I had placed the order with remembered me. He mentioned roses are $5 a stem, so $25 for the roses & $50 for greenery plus a plain glass vase, not even a ribbon on it. He asked me to text a picture which I did & never heard back from him. I’m very disappointed in the lack of customer service & communication after I reached out to them. Needless to say, I would never use Tara’s again It’s rare for me to do a review, & waited hoping to hear back before I did this review but this happened in May &...

Flowers were for my birthday, they didn’t match the picture so my husband took them back. Long haired lady agreed they weren’t as fluffy and they contained lilies, which are deadly and toxic to cats. No resolution so he left the flowers because we’re not going to harm or kill our cats.

I went in hoping to resolve the issue and the shorter haired lady began to yell at me and raise her voice. I asked her to stop raising her voice to me, and explained that I have cats and the lilies are toxic and deadly to them. She condescending told me that the cats would have to eat the flowers- not correct as pollen in the air will harm them. She again began to raise her voice, even after I told her that it has been a very trying day.

At this point in the conversation I was becoming upset and starting to cry so I turned around and tried to walk away and out the door. She continued to yell at me as I left. No flowers, out $120 since they wouldn’t resolve the issue and kept the flowers, and made to cry on my birthday.

No I would never recommend this business, truly uncaring...
