Old Navy — Local services in Manteca

I love old navy and this is a good store, but was very unsatisfied with my experience this time. I saw a dress that I thought would be perfect for my family Christmas photo shoot. But I realized they only had the one displayed on the mannequin and only one left on the hanger in XXL. I asked the employees if they could take the one on the mannequin off for me. They hesitated and said only if you are for sure going to buy it. I told them I wanted to try it on first before I bought it because it was XS and I’m a M but it was a super stretchy/loose fitting dress that I knew it would fit me. They all proceeded to whisper, “it’s not going to fit her and I don’t want to take this dress down from the mannequin.” Then, they all said to my face, “it’s not going to fit you it’s too small I think you’re better off with the other one or buying it online.” I told them I would buy it even if it didn’t fit and I would just give it to my mother. They took it down and I went to try it on and even one of the employees followed me. It fit amazing like a glove and I came out of the dressing room and the employee was shocked to see it fit and I bought it. I will show pictures soon as I take my photos...

I have never been to a more disorganized Old Navy, and it's not even a shopping holiday. A lot their sale signs were displayed for the wrong items, then after having wait in a unnecessarily long line to find out that I had gotten the wrong items for sale. I showed the manager the sale sign and she said it was for an item that was stuffed on the side of the rack. Showed her another one and said all the sale items on the rack were sold out, but the item I tried getting was on full display under that sale sign. Worst of all, I waited in that long line and asked if I could just come up to the front when I got new items, but they said no. I WISH I TOOK A PICTURE OF HOW UNORGANIZED THIS SHOP WAS.

Also, the manager was rude. She needs to learn customer service as I had so much...

Employees are usually friendly and helpful, however, they can also be pushy, especially regarding signing up for the store credit card. I dont mind them asking once, but anymore than that and it starts to feel like I'm shopping at a used car lot. Clothes are a great value and I like being able to shop for clothes for the whole family at one store. Sale prices are great. Lines can be long, especially evenings...
