Actually unbelievably poor experience. I went into the store to get my phone replaced which i just bought new less than 9 months ago because it died, expecting to walk out with a replacement phone and at least some gesture of appreciation for being a customer for about 10 years now, but instead was told that I have to wait several days for a replacement to be shipped to me or i would have to "pay my phone off and buy a new one" Absolute joke, the rep who greeted me was completely lacking in empathy and shared no concern for my situation even though i clearly told him I need my phone for work related reasons. Total embarrassment to even ask me if i would like to pay my phone off and buy a new one. He may as well have just stolen my wallet!
I understand that the employees are just doing what they are told, but as somebody who has worked in retail and currently works in a customer service related role, at least you can work to find a solution and "pull strings" if needed to show appreciation or at least put in an effort to help a valued customer. i got none of this, instead they pretty much spit in my face and every other time i have come to this location i have been given extremely poor customer service.
My actual rep (I believe Cody) was very friendly and helpful and i enjoyed working with them. However i then was falsely informed i would have my phone shipped to me by the next day which didnt happen. I reached out to the chat support and they told me they escalated it, and i still havent heard back so this still is not resolved, when they could have avoided it all by just replacing the dang phone right away .
Absolute joke, i would never recommend anyone to ever deal with verizon. Not only has my situation not been resolved which is now leading to further negative impact to the company due to these poor reviews, but now i have to keep dealing with more people who simply clock in to get paid and simply just DONT EVEN CARE!!!!
EDIT: my issue is now being resolved, I was at least given good help from the customer support which was refreshing. Still think there is work to be done at the location i originally went to, however, and will avoid going there...
Read moreI went to this store only February 25 to have my phone looked at . I was greeted by sean as I walked in the door. He took me back and asked me what he could do we looked at the phone he gave me options and broke things down. I ended up having a phone sent to me. i thanked him for helping me and went on my way. On Monday i went back with the new phone and was greeted by mason who was also very helpful. When i walked in I said when it comes to phones i am an idiot he walked through everything with me step by step. I was getting everything transfered so it took awhile. he asked if he would mind if he helped other people I said absolutely not. I just was waiting for the phone to transfer so I didn't need him to sit and talk to me. But as i was sitting there sean came out of the back and greeted me and asked about the phone. He also went back to helping. As i an sitting there i am just watching and i am watching the employee interact. Everyone i watched they took the time to get to know them and the problems. There was a slow period were 2 of the guys were talking and one of them just bust out into singing i start laughing and he just keeps going. The atmosphere at this location is fun. Yes you might have to wait but they are very quick at their job. After every client mason kept coming over and checking to see how far I got and kept asking if its okay. I live in new Brighton so roseville location is actually closer for me. But the last time i talk to them they said they can't help me and sent me out the door. I will never go back there. Turns out that not all Verizon stores offer the same price as another Verizon stores, and comparing one Verizon store to another Verizon store (even in the same town) can save you tons! I received a quote from the Verizon off of Dunkirck and Co Rd 30 in Maple Grove for $35 per line unlimited for 4 lines, a $250 bonus to bring my own phone over, a $700 credit towards a 2nd phone of my choice for buying a Note 10 (so not really a BOGO, but close), and a 2nd iPhone 11 for free with the purchase of one iPhone 11(actual BOGO at or under $700.00). I then went to this Verizon location (in the Fountains area off Elm Creek and Hemlock) and the sales associate (Ben) told me $45.00 per line, no bonus to bring my own phone, no 2nd iPhone for free , and a Flip phone (seriously..lol) for my BOGO to buy a Note 10. When I questioned this, things turned a little less pleasant than I would have expected so I simply left the store. I haven't decided if I am going to stay with Sprint or switch to Verizon, but either way, it is not going to be at this location. So do not be seduced by the "bigger" stores and do a little checking around, I promise you will thank me! BTW, if they respond below with an excuse please be advised that both quotes were in writing so there was no vulnerability to interpretation.
