I had been searching for the perfect engagement ring and made many stops trying to find the right ring, store and staff to work with on such an important life decision. After plenty of discussions with sales associates at several different stores, I always left feeling like I was compromising on the ring, the diamond and\or the relationship with the store that I would rely on for future care of the ring.
Luckily, I decided to make a trip to Wedding Day Diamonds in Maple Grove and happened to meet Veneise and the other staff members at the store. Only after just a few minutes of talking about my search, Veneise made it clear that she and her store were different than all the others. She was very interested in helping me find the perfect diamond and the perfect ring. She presented so many options and ideas along the way but never tried to take me in a different direction than what I was looking for. She knew also gave incredible advice along the way and helped point out things to look for in diamonds or rings that none of the others had brought to the table which helped direct me to the perfect diamond to start with the ring selection.
I very quickly learned of the warranty Wedding Day offers with their rings and diamonds bringing a peace of mind feeling to this purchase. I knew that no matter what life throws our way in the future, that ring was going to be taken care of and we wouldn't have anything to worry about. I also learned of the free band design process. Veneise spent all the time I needed helping me combine features from different rings to design the perfect unique ring to go with the diamond I had selected and her enthusiasm was always high no matter how many changes to the design I presented. Along the way, I got amazing 3D CAD drawings to help bring the design to life which helped us adjust the design until it was exactly what I was looking for. Others in the store shared the same excitement for the design and assisted in bringing the ideas to life. Gabriel & Co did an incredible job with the 3D CAD designs and the final product.
I truly appreciate all of the work and help along the way. I will never hesitate to recommend Veneise and Maple Grove Wedding Day to anyone looking for any piece of jewelry. I never felt pressured and I always felt like my best interest was in mind while designing this ring and I'm confident my girlfriend will love it when I propose to her. The experience was as good as it gets, the price was great, the product quality is amazing and warranty shows they stand with you and the product for life! Veneise also helped me design my wedding band and I look forward to continuing to work with her when I return to Wedding Day with my girlfriend to design her...
Read moreWe had gone to ALOT of other jewelers before going to wedding day. We had even put money down on a ring at another jeweler but we just didn't feel 100% great about it. We decided to try one more jeweler before settling for what we had. At Wedding Day Natalie Vaught walked us through the process from start to finish and was always available to answer questions. Even now she checks in to make sure we are happy with our ring even though she could easily have stopped caring the moment we made our purchase. I highly recommend going to her if you are in the market for any jewelery as I have no doubt she will take great care of you.
I love my engagement ring from Wedding Day. I get so many compliments on it and can't believe the quality when I compare it to other people's rings. Even the thought of the design is just a notch above any other jeweler we went to. What set wedding day apart when it came to the style of ring I chose were things like the halo diamonds being bigger, set closer together and of better quality than we saw in other jewelers halos. They also designed the center diamond to be elevated to let more light in but without it sticking out too much that it gets caught on everything when wearing it. The diamond that we picked was by no means the largest as we didnt want to spend a ridiculous amount of money but when comparing it to diamond rings that the center diamonds are larger in karats (I am talking 2-3 times larger) but set in sub-standard bands, mine blows them out of the water. The way that the diamond is presented and looks in my ring is just incredible and I can't believe my eyes when I see gigantic diamonds rings out there with no "wow" factor due to being set in their bands so un-thoughtfully.
I asked for a certain custom design and the Wedding Day designers improved upon it. Natalie didn't try to sell us a D color diamond just to make more money since the diamond color wasn't as important for my ring with it being set in rose gold. She never tried to tell us that we needed to get the biggest diamond we could afford and just put it in any band (like most other jewelers did). All of these things are the reasons that I will always trust Wedding Day and will exclusively shop for fine jewelry through them. I am thrilled with everything and recommend everyone to...
Read moreLong past due in writing this. My wife and I have been customers since it was Wedding Day Jewelers. Nearly 20 years. I bought he engagement ring at the Mall of America, my diamond for her was on layaway and I made weekly payments until I could get it. 4 years later when we married we bout our wedding rings there. A few years after that we got her engagement ring updated and fused to the wedding band.
So it was too my wife's horror when she discovered that the diamond in her ring had fallen out at an unknown location and time. It was to be lost forever.
Over the years, as the company name changed so did policies and procedures. Now there is a lifetime guarantee, when I first bought there was not, unless you had examinations and checks done every six months.
Somewhere in there when we had her ring updated, a staff member at the time not understanding the policy changes for a long term customer such as ourselves led us to believe we no longer needed 6 month checkups, so when my wife had a very unpleasant one time experience that made her reluctant to return her and I were happy that it was not a need any longer. Both of the above, the changes leading to a misunderstanding, followed by a bad day for an employee happen with any company.
When she lost her diamond, she was devastated, as I reminded her it was just compressed carbon, it was still a blow. When I initially called to start the process we found out that we were misinformed and we were corrected on how to get to life time. The initial person I spoke with was unable to help and I was fed up through the chain of command until I spoke with John who was at the Maple Grove location.
After discussion, and himself advocating our situation to his boss, we were able to get a very satisfactory resolution for the missing diamond. John even allowed Carla to choose from two, one of which was slightly higher in quality. She chose the 'lower' quality in hopes that her eyes would eventually catch a blemish like in her original diamond.
While they have grown in size, this company continues to stay true to itself, and does care about its customers satisfaction when it could have just as easily written us off and I highly...
