This location is about 2-3 times bigger than the one in Crystal. Huge parking lot to find parking. An excellent location to find home goods ;) They have signs posted to see how much certain products costs.
Daiso is a very popular Japanese retail that operates a chain of 100-yen shops, often compared to dollar stores in the US. While many items are priced at 100 yen (roughly $1.75-$1.99 depending on location), they offer a wide variety of products, including stationery, kitchenware, home goods, and snacks.
We found this location to have A LOT more items than the Crystal location. They were fully stocked as well. This was during the grand opening as well. You will find MANY household items. You won't find clothing or other outside home items but look and you may find a tool or something that fits your needs.
The employees did an excellent job at making sure items were stocked and everything else was organized. Major props to the workers during the grand opening.
This will be our go to spot to find office supplies, household items, organizational ideas and so much more. Would highly recommend this location and the shopping experience, especially if you love...
Read moreI found myself today checking out Daiso Home goods. As an American Indian I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I chose to check it out! Daiso is a Japanese retail store known for its wide variety of household goods, stationery, snacks, and personal items — all at budget-friendly prices, usually around $1.75, similar to Five Below.
This Maplewood location is one of the largest in Minnesota and it’s fantastic. The store is incredibly clean, well-stocked, and full of clever organization solutions: whether it's for shelves, clothes, cables, or personal items. If you're looking to tidy up your space, this is the place to go.
The parking is spacious, and the location feels perfect, especially with Jo-Ann Fabrics now closed. This store brings much-needed retail energy to the area. The checkout process was smooth and efficient, and they carry everything from Japanese teas to carbonated drinks like Shirakiku.
One tip: write down what you need before you go in or you'll walk out with a bunch of cool things you didn’t plan on buying. Great experience overall!...
Read moreThis was kind of frustrating lol, we got there very early on their first opening day at 7:00 and were within maybe the first 30-45 people. The opening was advertised with two things, a free goodie bag for purchases over $30, and an additional coupon that came with any purchase over $20. We received neither, we got an empty tote bag for free and the cashier didn’t give us a coupon either, so what was the point? Very disappointing and upsetting considering how cold it was and that we could have simply came at another date. However, store was very well stocked, very organized and all the staff was friendly and helpful, perfect store if this was communicated better and we got what was promised for...
