I have to say, buying a home is a daunting task of its own, but add to that, trying to find and purchase a home from across the country is on an entire new level of uncertainty! Thankfully, my husband and I were connected with MHIG and are having the pleasure of working (primarily) with Samantha as we search for and look at homes virtually and in person. Working with a competent professional who is backed by a strong team is alleviating what could be a very worrisome task because we’re trusting the eyes and knowledge of an otherwise “stranger” to help us make one of the biggest decisions of our lives! We’ve been in this professional relationship for 5 months now and we can honestly say that there’s a genuine trust that has been built to the point that we left them a check with instructions to give it to the home seller when things lined up. Their communication skills are always on top and never lagging. This is truly a “boots on the ground” situation and the 2 times that we had to be there in person, it was truly a comfort to have both Samantha and Terri make arrangements to move some of their personal plans to accommodate us on OUR schedule and tag team when we wanted to see an empty lot. The MHIG Team is adapt in making the best use of FaceTime and bringing up questions and concerns with the prospective builders and sellers as various homes are considered. The footwork that Samantha did prior to our arrival on both occasions saved us lots of unnecessary running around as she thoroughly vetted properties that we’d expressed interest in. If anyone reading this review is moving from out of town, you will do well to work with Samantha. Do not be deterred by her youth; she has knowledge well beyond her years and will be able to assist you with finding your next home, too. Our journey continues to move along well as we’re now in the process of signing docs and making sure everything is in order prior to closing.
