On April 18th at approximately 430pm at the Marion location at 2504 7th. Ave. The manager(I believe his name is Anthony), stole my wallet.. I set it on the candy machine to help my daughter get her candy and I forgot it . Five minutes later I returned to the store to ask if it has been turned in and the manager said he seen me leave with it, he said this like 3-4 times, like he was trying to convince me that I just don't remember leaving it on the candy machine. (I know I didn't leave with it). And he told me there wasn't anybody at all by them machines after I left. I asked if he could review the cameras and he told me no.. I called the police and went back into the store to let him know, as I was walking back into the store the manager and a female co-worker went into the office so I walked over to the office window,(its mirrored tinted but I could still see through it), I watched him get on the computer screen and pull up the cameras and it looked like he tried to delete something but a box appeared (one that said you can't perform this action I think.) I have cameras at my house so I know what it looks like. Then he walked over to the other side of the desk and the co-worker said something to him, at that time he came to the door and in an angry voice told me not to be watching them through the glass, I said,I'm not going nowhere I am waiting for the police and would like to know why we can't look at the footage, then he got loud and more angry and told me to get out of the store. So I went outside and waited. When the officer came I explained what happened and we went into the store to talk to manager. We stood by the office door and waited for the manager. When he came out he acted alittle nervous and said, is there something I can help you with to the officer. He knew what was going on this all happened pretty quick.. the officer asked if we could look at the footage and manager said, there is no cameras covering that area.. I looked and pointed at the camera that was pointing at the register he was at and the candy machines that where right in front of his register by outside windows.and said there is one right there. at that time he got irritated again and told me to get out of the store. The Officer told him no because I am in there with him. Then the manager said then can we all go outside. At that time the officer asked me to wait outside. I said yes no problem. When the officer came out he told me the manager told him there was a couple kids by the candy machines,(there where no kids in the store when I left and he told me nobody at all was by the machimes-exact words).. after the officer and I talked he went back in to try to look at footage again . When he came back out he said the manager told him the cameras aren't working. .. how many times is this person gonna change his story .. I need a district manager to help me see the footage. And I can't believe Police Officers can't make them show the footage... I could've had my wallet back. $4.90 and all my...
Read moreLisa the manager is a very hostile crazy person. She started gossipping about my daughter who worked under Lisa at a previous company. Lisa started talking to her coworker and saying my daughter had a smirk on her face and she used to work with her bla bla bla. We ran by there at 9:40 pm toto grab a couple things before they closed. Lisa's store has closed early when she worked (7pm on a Saturday). She just couldn't leave well enough alone and had to give my daughter a hard time tonight. Then I called the store and got an associate and I was trying to tell her what Lisa did and ask for her district manager's number. But I was in my car and I saw her holding the phone up to Lisa's ear! I said "I can see you both. Why are you putting the phone up to Lisa's ear when I was trying to make a complaint about her?" I then said go ahead and I will just talk to Lisa herself. I told her that she should not be talking about my daughter and gossipping about her in the store. She hung up on me. Then I tried to get my daughter to leave because I walked in by the this point and another associate said Lisa called the police!
So let's get this straight. Lisa who was such an abusive horrible manager to my daughter she quit working for the company within 10 days of being hired by Lisa. Lisa herself no longer works for the other company. My daughter and I simply shop at Dollar Tree where we shopped LONG BEFORE Lisa ever worked there. Then Lisa can't leave well enough alone and has to harass my daughter and make her feel bad just by shopping at Dollar Tree. I call the store, tell Lisa to stop harassing my daughter and gossipping about her and then Lisa weaponizes the Marion police department and we get trespassed by Lisa when she instigated everything and acted like the same hostile abusive boss she was at a different company.
That about sums it up. You can do much better...
