Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Marion

All I can say is that I'm super happy that I decided to place my order on New Years Eve. I was hesitant because of all the other reviews that I was reading. We did NOT experience any of these other issues that I have read about so that makes me believe they were isolated incidences. We ordered 8 pizzas with a bunch of different dipping sauces. I called ahead to check on the order to make sure it was all good for pickup. Sam answered the phone and assured me everything was good for my order. She was 100% correct and super friendly/polite on the phone. My friend picked up our order a half hour later and everything went smooth and the order was done correctly and on time for pickup. Pizza tasted amazing and looked great upon arrival to my house a half hour away. We did however have the pizza in our own pizza delivery bag so it kept them fresh for the ride home. Overall I will definitely be back and can't wait to place another order with this amazing store and it's great staff!!!! Called at 8:42 p.m. Spoke to a woman and was told the wait was an hour and a half. No problem. Called at 10:35 p.m. and a guy answered and told me the delivery driver just left and it was going to be another 10 minutes. Fine. Still waiting. Called back at 11:11 and the same woman that took my order told me they never received my order. This woman then precedes to lie to me and tells me she didn’t take my order because she just got in at 9 but you can recognize her voice. She also precedes to tell me she’s the manager and she can give me credit towards my next order. I’ve been waiting over 2 hours and going back and fourth on the phone so why would I ever order from this Papa Johns ever again. This whole time I could have ordered from somewhere else and ate it by now. Poor customer service, communication, and terrible employees. If zero was an option for a rating I would give them a 0 and the middle finger especially to the woman or the so called “manager”. I ordered two pizzas online and was going to pick it up. When I arrived I walked in and automatically you could tell the atmosphere was cheerful ,was great, they had great banter with each other ,they were in good moods they were working hard and having fun. So I walk up to the counter and tell them that I'm there to pick up my pizzas. Before Iy even say another word they cccccccccccccc fzme the afmy name and went to grab the cccme. Tsshat's when they informed me that they c a mistake on one of my pizzas and that they had to remake it and I was going to be receiving an additional pizza. I ordered two and ended up taking home three. And then...... they topped my order off with plates, napkins and a couple other goodies just for the inconvenience. Which by the way was no inconvenience to me because they had corrected the mistake before I got there. I just really think that they handled themselves wonderfully I would definitely recommend ordering from there. I'm going back...
