Very awkward first experience. Went today for their easter event which was nice however a few things that threw me off were a couple young girls came into the play area to tidy up, completely normal until one of the girls chose to clean up an area two kids were playing in asking them if she could have the toys to put back. another girl said to her it’s only 12 they can still play, with the absolute most sass the first girl moves onto another area where she then shouts “ARE YOU SERIOUS???? THERE IS NO POINT IN CLEANING THIS UP. IM DONE IM DONE” and storms off behind a door that’s marked bathrooms, a two year old is who she shouted at, a non verbal two year old.. a child or not that was extremely unsettling to me and marked as a place not safe for autistic children. the place where you stored your shoes before entering the play area reeked of weed, i thought i was the only one that smelled it until i heard two other people make a comment about it. a place for children smelling like that? absolutely not! will definitely be spreading the word of my experience to mom groups and my friends...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our daughter’s 6th birthday at the Play Cafe, and it was absolutely wonderful! The new owners, Kelly and Brandon, were so kind, helpful, and genuinely fun to work with. From the start, they were incredibly accommodating and made the whole planning process smooth and stress-free.
The kids had a blast playing in the kid area, and we had a private party room where we served snacks, drinks, pizza, and cake. We even had a piñata, and Kelly and Brandon went above and beyond to help make that part of the party a success too. They were always available to assist but never intrusive—just the right balance of support.
The space was clean, welcoming, and perfectly designed for young kids. Pricing was very fair, especially for the level of service and attention we received. You can tell the new owners really care about creating a great experience for families. We’re so happy we chose the Play Cafe and would absolutely recommend it for a...
Read moreI took my 4 and 2 year old children to The Play Cafe and had a wonderful time. The play area is large and well-equipped, with something for kids of all ages to enjoy. My kids loved the climbing-jumping structure.
I was able to relax with a friend at the tables while my kids played. We could still see our kids while we chatted and enjoyed our coffee. The staff at The Play Cafe were friendly and attentive. They made sure that our kids were safe and had everything they needed.
My shy 2 year old felt confident enough to play because he could still see me and check in with me when he needed to. My 4 year old ran around and had fun with her friends without a concern in the world.
We were able to bring our own snacks for our picky kids, but they also had a variety of snack foods for purchase. Overall, we had a great experience at The Play Cafe. It is a clean, safe, and fun place for families with young children. I highly...
