By far my least favorite AMC theater in the area.
I really enjoy the multiple touch screens freeing up the employees to have quicker turnaround times on concessions, and the drink fountain is up to date, usually clean and well organized. That might be where it ends for what I really like about this theater.
The lobby gets disorganized and chaotic QUICK. A few ropes or guide posts near the screens would be such an easy and simple fix for this. The quality is also VERY hit or miss. Popcorn has been mostly kernels and stale more times than not. This theater also doesn't use consistent sizing. Their medium is a small at any other AMC. Their large is a medium at any other AMC. How much does popcorn cost in terms of profit that it brings in? One of the most baffling decisions at skimping on the customer that I've seen.
The theater layout is so chaotic. The reclining chairs are awesome, but they're set on a ramped, flat floor. That means anytime makes as much as a whisper, they might as well be right next to you.
Of the 5 times I've been here, 4 of them the theater door wouldn't close. It was physically impossible to close this door. The door is also right behind all of the chairs on the flat surface. Every time a movie got out you heard every thought the people who left it had. More than one theater room had a broken door, so if you get to a particularly loud scene during a horror movie? You get to enjoy that too. Sometimes that even means you can hear the person who scanned your ticket singing too.
The chairs in terms of quality were shocking. 3 of the 5 times I've been here the screen you use to adjust the seating was CAKED in oil and salt. There's no way it was cleaned within the last week. One time, my chair even came with a bonus smell.
I really appreciate that this theater has a lot of the more unique and less shown titles than my regular AMC does, but I'm not going here unless I absolutely have to. In desperate need of some upper management that really cares.
EDIT: Oh, and forgot to mention that it doesn't have AC in the theaters, so maybe find a different one if the...
Read moreFirst time here since the renovation. The seats are great and I like the stadium seating. Picture quality and sound were good. I bought the tickets online and chose my own seats. I was able to get my tickets at the kiosk with no problem. That's the positive, now the negative.
This was opening day for Furious 7. It was also spring break for a number of schools. I had tickets for the 11:00 AM show. They had 2 people for people who wanted to purchase tickets on site so the lines were very long. They had only two people working at the concession stand. That in itself was a joke! The lines were outrageous! The fact that we had to wait over twenty minutes was unacceptable. Once arriving to order food we were told that they were out of pretzel bites and pizza. They were also out of several flavors of Coke and Mello Yello at the soda machines. My son and I got some popcorn and Sprite and went into the theater. Several times during the movie workers with flashlights cam in to deal with people sitting in the wrong seats.
After the movie I spoke to a manager who told me that "they were not out of these products because the food order had come in that morning and there had not been time to put it all away." He also asked what time my tickets had been for. I told him I didn't see why that was relevant because if you are open for business you should be stocked with what you need. I also informed him that given the fact that it was opening day for a blockbuster movie and spring break, perhaps someone would have made sure they were better staffed. He gave me two passes to come back. I appreciated that but I'm considering Movie Tavern to see The Avengers or maybe AMC Painters Crossing. AMC Marple 10 still needs to work...
Read moreMe and my fiancé went to this “Theater” yesterday to see Spider-Man which was 5 stars unlike this review. The theater had a stale air smell and the carpet smelt of mildew. The bathroom had blunt wrappings in the toilet and the trash was not changed ( I know that because I went before and after the movie) the concession stand was no better. I told the staff my popcorn was cold and instead of making fresh popcorn she continued to scoop it out for other customers. None of the butter stations were filled all 4 of them were empty and the counters dirty and sticky. Over at the refreshment area They had a disinfectant spray and paper towel with a subtle sign basically suggesting to do it yourself. When a man went to put butter on his popcorn instead of the worker saying it’s empty she stood by with the butter refill box in her hand and looked at him with an attitude and filled it when he walked away. They had no cheese and no normal pretzel bites. They only had cold popcorn, cinna pretzel bites that were TERRIBLE and flat bread pizza. I looked for a manager but the manager was too busy laughing with the 4 employees jammed behind the ticket booth. I would think as a manager and if your short staff you get to work and do a little of everything but nothing was done. The seats inside were unclean and had a old sofa smell and feel to them. This place use to be a joy to patron and I understand covid put a wrench in certain things but covid has nothing to do with cleanliness and basic upkeep. I wish I took pictures of all the other tithings I mentioned. O and another thing when my fiancé said her cinna pretzel weren’t hot. One of the staff members asked her co worker “Is the...
