Getz's — Local services in Marquette

I really wanted to love it, because they have nice clothes, but they were so rude and unhelpful we put our selected items down and left. Out of at least 8 employees standing around, on a quiet Sunday, not one responded to my polite smile and request for assistance. There were 4 of them standing behind the front counter laughing at something on their phones and ignoring customers. My fiancee asked one employee in the shoe department if there were any more of one style in a size 7 and the woman said "they have the size marked on them" and turned away. I don't know if this store could survive in many other communities. They offer high end clothing at high end prices. I shop there a few times a year because of availability of certain items. Marquette is a relatively remote community. There's simply not a lot of clothing stores to choose from. If I'm looking for a specific item of a specific quality, Getzs is often my only option in a 200 miles radius. The owner is a marketing master! He keeps his inventory select and elite offering what nobody else in our community does. He fills the niche very well. Who seriously shuts the lights out on customers that are still in the building?? I mean seriously, we are waiting on a question to be answered by the staff behind the counter and we're asked to go double check to see if an item was still on the shelf while other staff was looking on another floor. And before we could even get an answer, we realize that the lights were actually going out and the staff had left the front counter assuming that another staff member took care of us. After we were finally taken care of we go to the door to find out that we were actually locked in right at 6:00 p.m... So again, SERIOUSLY? That is absolute terrible...
