What consultation? You told me to be there at 5 oâclock. I was running late and didnât get there till 5:15. You came out and said oh I forgot you were coming. Iâll be with you in 15 minutes. Not even hello Karen itâs nice to meet you Iâll be right with you. You finally came out to get me around 6 oâclock. Yes, I sat in the front in one of your yellow chairs for quite some time. When I was trying to tell you about what I want it for my hair, my scalp condition, etc. you were not even listening you, were running out around your shop and checking your phone. You were very rude and unprofessional. You made me feel as if I was an inconvenience for you. If thatâs what you call a consultation and you normally charge $20,, need to re visit how you do your consultations. I was bothered of how I was treated so thatâs why Iâm posting this because I normally do not do reviews unless theyâre positive ones. Amaka, owner/ founder, 13 years experience⌠my message to you is if you want to grow your business by securing and retaining new clients via your social media platforms and most definitely by referrals/word of mouth, I strongly suggest you work on your customer service skills. The word used by someone else that left a review was rude. You know what you did when I came to your place of business on Friday, June 27. Work on your customer service and your follow up skills. With the economy being as tough as it is, no business owner can afford to lose any existing or potential new clients. You know how important and powerful referrals can be. If youâre not fully listening to and engaging with a potential new client and not giving them the attention needed during a consultation, that is bad for your business. Lastly, Good communication is key. Follow up and follow through in a timely manner. Remember, when you respond to a text message I sent you because I had been waiting on a response from you and you text early in the morning, remember to start by saying âGOOD MORNING.â

Read moreIdk if it was the owner or the manager but she had glasses and was very rude for no reason. I called prior to my appointment to figure out a timeframe for the braids and she told me 6 hours. I understand braids take a while which is why i called to get a timeframe. After 7 hours i simply asked the assistant doing my hair would it be finished after 8hours, as i had to pick up my son. The assistant said no and turned to the women with the glasses. She then proceeded to snap and say âwell can u come back , i mean things happenâ, âi mean she hasnât even eaten yetâ First of all why is that my problem that your assistant didnât eat?? Isnât that your employee? And why would i walk out a braid shop after paying $600 with my head half done? If the process was 8-9 hours it took nothing to state that, as people have things to do and if i wanted to spend 9 hours in a braid shop i wouldâve went to the Africans for half the price. My braids are good but idk if sis was having a bad day or what but for the amount of money i paid for these braids , some professionalism is definitely needed. Nothing luxury about...
Read moreThe braids look nice, but the experience was disappointing. I booked waist length (which usually stop at my lower back) and got braids to the middle of my butt, which are heavier and longer than I wanted. Itâs only the first full day, and Iâm already ready to take them out because of the discomfort on my hair and scalp. I arrived at 7:00 AM with my hair washed and blow-dried, thinking it would cut down on time. Yet I didnât leave this salon until around 5:15 PM and I didnât get home until 6PM. I anticipated getting done around 2PM and assumed I would be done in time to take my son to his doctorâs appointment. I have been getting medium knotless for years and this was the LONGEST it has ever taken to braid my hair. My braider barely spoke to me, throughout the duration of my appointment and I wasnât offered a water or a snack until around 4:00 PM (9 hours later). While the style looks good, the lack of communication, extreme appointment length, and heaviness of the braids made this a frustrating visit. Unfortunately, I probably...
