Since Chick-fil-A has no official way to leave real feedback and a review of an experience that's NOT light and fluffy like they'd rather have on their site, I guess leaving a review on Google will have to do. This particular location for some reason has been on the decline lately. Orders are coming back wrong, food is not what you'd expect, and the overall experience makes you question ever going back. I live pretty close to this Chick-fil-A location so every now and then I stop by and get the usual meals for my family and I. This evening it was pretty busy as expected on a Monday night so there was no fuss about that. After placing my order at the drive-thru, getting to the window to pay took a bit of time as if there was some back up inside or in the kitchen maybe. I finally get to the window to pay and the girl at the window read back my order which was all correct and gave me my total. I pay and she hands me back my debit card, hands me my drink and says "have a good night"...Where's my food? She then ask "did I not give you your food?" No...no you didn't. I'm not sure where in that short amount of time of me paying for everything and handing me a drink did you think my food magically appeared in my hands as well but it didn't. I definitely understand it being a long day and things getting a little mixed up but come on. But to top it all off, I noticed something odd about my lemonade. I love the lemonade; could do without the pulp which was the complete opposite of what I got. I got home and opened my drink to see almost a third of my cup was filled with a thick layer of lemon pulp. Did they give me the entire bottom layer in their lemonade machine? I was literally standing in my kitchen scooping out thick spoonfuls of pulp. On another occasion, I ordered the usual again; this time getting chicken strips for my mother while I still get the classic sandwich. I'm not sure where the miscommunication came in when I made my order but I got home to find out that I did not get my sandwich but another set of strips. I paid for a sandwich...but got strips which I don't really care for. So now I'm at a point to either not visit this location at all since they can't seem to get things right lately or IF I do go, sit in the drive-thru or stand inside and dissect my food to make sure everything is correct.
I really do wish that there was a way that Chick-fil-A can see that mistakes are being made at their restaurants and it's not all sunshine and daisies with people leaving "inspiring and unique experience stories" on their site. You want unique? How about getting a cup full of pulp and the wrong order that you didn't...
Read moreDisclaimer: I am disgusted by their history of oppressing the LGBT community, and boycotted them for years as a result; the following is part statement on the Chick-fil-A Corp, and part honest review of this location (which is as awesome as every other one I've ever been to). I would never otherwise talk about any of this (see my other reviews), but THEY put it out there by promoting themselves as a Christian org (signs in their stores) and THEY have not been shy about it in the press either, which means they have made it part of their identity, which makes it fair game. I came back after discovering they stopped funding "pray the gay away" foundations, though I'm still torn over whether I should ever come here at all, given what they stand for. In the end, I support anyone's right to love or hate who they want (1st Amendment), so long as they DO NOT oppress them (hence the boycott while their hate took the form of action), but the whole uber Christian vibe does still turn my stomach a bit and it's really hard to forget that part of my money spent on chicken was used to hurt innocent young people that were just trying to be themselves; it's my understanding this has stopped, but still. In the end, I reluctantly give 5 stars because though I rarely visit (just when others want to go), they are always super fast and accurate (no matter how long the line is, their logistics are on point), and their Jesus chicken is so good it's almost miraculous. I hate giving 5 stars to this closed minded company, but I'm committed to being fair and honest in my reviews, and since this isn't where you come to rate politics... they are honestly the best fast food I've ever encountered. If only they could let go of the hypocrisy that is being Christian (love your brother) and yet be so clearly anti-loving your brother; unless of course they go to your church and follow your rules (which is their right, booo, but still their constitutional right). Sorry to get political here, had to say that if I was going to...
Read moreFor a place that prides themself in customer service......WHATEVER! I ordered a salad with special instructions to leave off the cheese. This order was placed via mobile app and I’ve verified the special instructions with the customer service person outside. I retrieve my order drive 15 minutes home only to find out my order was incorrect. I called the store and was harassed about having a receipt. I was placed on hold three times about a simple salad that was wrong & only to get transferred to a team lead and when she couldn’t help me she transferred me to a manager. The manager advised me to come back and I explained to her that I was on my way back and that I have the receipt via mobile app I didn’t have the physical copy. I asked how they were going to correct the situation and was told that their new policy is for me to return the item and get the correct item. The frustrating part for me was that I had already made it home and was ready to resume my workday. I had to take another 15 to 20 minutes to get there go inside and then another 15 minutes to get home an $8 dollar salad that was incorrectly made by them. The manager gave me her name and asked that I asked for her once I return. Once I returned I was greeted by the store owner instead of the manager that I had spoken with and when I asked for her I was told “I am the store owner”. The manager that I had been speaking with told me not to worry that she was going to take care of the situation and when I asked about being compensated for having to turn around and come back she said I’ll take care of you, but when I got there she was unavailable. They replaced the salad there was no there was no other compensation for my troubles that added 30 minutes extra to my time for their mistake....
