Today for lunch, 3 of us decided we had a taste for steak. I, particularly, love a good ribeye and think this 12 oz gets the job done. Today's came out "okay". It was cooked about like I asked but the cut of meat was surprisingly just not what I had expected from this restaurant and had not been my experience in the past. (Actually, switched to this chain over another due to what we feel is better quality/service for overall money spent.) Our server, Tori, never let our drinks even come close to empty, while she balanced a VERY busy load at another table and did a quick check back - where she was happy to bring out my savior. Tina explained that recently the chain started ordering their steaks pre cut. crying face here They did (up until a few weeks ago) cut them in house and she took the time to explain this, offer me extra sides, and even had her cook specifically find me a pre cut steak with more marbling in it - just like I wanted. Tina and the server, Tori, the cook, Ray, and the whole experience today really made our day after other dining experiences have been so poor lately.    Read moreMy fiancé and I were craving a nice steak and a dinner out tonight unfortunately neither happened. We checked in with the hostess and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. So we took the pager and sat outside on the benches for 20 minutes then walked in to check out the hold up. We walked in directly behind 2 guest who had just arrived. The hostess seated them right away. When she came back she realized that we had obviously been there first and on the list holding the pager she gave us. We were seated with no apology. Our table was in the bar and the sever was good but the food was awful with the exception of my filet it was great. The tea was too sweet to drink my fiancé side order was wrong and his sirloin was not even close to decent it was very over cooked with absolutely no flavor seriously too hard to chew. I had the filet and salmon. Steak was great salmon tasted like rubber it was disgusting. When the server finally came over to check on us we expressed our disappointment and she took our plates (my fiancés was completely untouched except for the 2 bites he tried to chew) offered an apology. Now I am in this industry and expected the manager to at least stop at the table to see what the problem was. I was wrong she never stopped by the whole 15-20 minutes we sat waiting for the check.    Read moreUpdate 4/13/18 : So we decided to give this location another chance and I'm glad we did. Sonny was friendly and gave great customer service. However, the reason for this updated review is for the prime rib. It was perfection on a plate tonight. The tender meat melted in my mouth and had a perfect balance of seasoning. Worth coming back for and worthy of a 5 star rating.
(1 Star ) 4/11/17 Sorry to say I don't remember our waitress's name and since she never brought me back my change and receipt (paid with cash) I don't have anything with her name on it. She was a middle aged African-American woman with short orange hair she had styled on top of her head. She took way too long to greet us once we were seated and there were only about 5 other tables sat in the restaurant. This was at about 2:30pm 4/11/17. After we finally placed our order we almost never saw her again. She never even bothered to refill our drinks, the manager had to. Finally she brought the check and I paid in cash. She never bothered to bring back the change she just decided to keep it all even though that was not my intention as she did not deserve such a good tip.
