I always come here and get my queso dip on the side that usually comes in a small container that’s half the size of the $6 one. They have made the mistake previously by not placing it in my bag. When I’ve told them they corrected the issue and gave it to me. Today, it happened again and the waitress said it was on my food. If it’s a dip, why would it be on my food? That doesn’t even make sense. She goes back in, wasting my time, and the man below who claims to be the owner. For $2.99 he was going to hand me what you see below in his hand. The free salsa container is BIGGER than that. I told him that he was playing in my face and I have never had the $2.99 queso in that small of a cup. Taco 4 life queso dip is the same price and the cup is BIGGER. So if this is what $2.99 it getting you, customer are being CHEATED and I told him that. He argued with me and was VERY rude. No one NEEDS to go to this particular Monterrey because if you’re cheating people out of food, it’s no telling what other corners he’s cutting. Be careful eating here and dealing with people like him. He’s unfair, unreasonable, and he’s a liar. Anyone who argues with customer over food they pay for isn’t a good business owner or a good manager. Simply look below at what $2.99 of queso gets you…Go to Taco 4 life or a different location where they know how yo treat people and you don’t have to deal with...
Read moreWe have been to Monterrey several times but this time we had to wait 45 minutes to an hour. This time my wife and I was very disappointed in the food. We came in with two other couples a total of 7 people. After 45 minutes I went back in and asked him if they could take an empty table and but next to a booth and the manager said no he could not move that table but instead he went to a group that was sitting at a table and ask them to leave. Not only making one group mad but two. The service was very poor. I ordered a number 7 which was a Chili Relleno & enchilada. This chili relleno was not what I have had from some of the other Monterrey restaurants specially the restaurant in Monroe. At that restaurant I actually received a chili Relleno that was deep fried. Not here this Chili Relleno was cut up I received two small pieces and hamburger meat with cheese sauce. Not up to par not even close. My wife order number 8 beef enchilada and a tamale she asked if instead of the red sauce if she could have the cheese sauce over her enchilada. They brought our orders and when they brought us the bill. They charged us 2 dollars for the cheese dip. I will think twice before going back to...
Read moreA true review.... Probably the worst "Mexican" restaurant you could ever eat at. The food is not adequate as other reviews have stated. It's absolutely horrible. There is nothing authentic, or genuine, or even flavorful or tasty about the garbage they are serving on a plate here. It's rice purchased from Sam's Club put next to sliced lettuce and tomato served next to whatever entree you happened to order. In my case the entree was the chicken zuizas. It was chicken with no flavor, wrapped in bland tortilla, with a red enchilada sauce, obviously out of a can, poured on top of it with another white "sauce" poured on top of that. It was actually insulting. Also, the salsa served with the chips when you are seated is also obviously poured right out of a jar or can purchased at Sam's Club or Costco. Nothing fresh, authentic, or homemade whatsoever. To top it off, service at this place is nonexistent. The restaurant was not crowded at all, which is no surprise, and we still had to flag down multiple different employees to try and get help just to get out of there ASAP. My food felt more like it was just barely heated up out of some packaging as opposed to being actually cooked....
