Ho'okipa Surf Co — Local services in Maui

We love shopping at Ho’Okipa Surf Shop! Their designs are fresh and unique, capturing a true island vibe that we love. It was our second time visiting Maui and always find something good here! Prices are reasonable, considering the quality of their items. We picked up a yellow hooded rash vest- like long sleeve and a soft sage green sweatshirt both with Paia Maui text on them. Having washed our items, were very pleased with the fabric and print quality. The shop is a gem among the dozens of fantastic places to shop in Paia (and Makawao), and it's a joy to support a local independent business! One small note: a warmer welcome and overall genuine customer care could be improved, but I’ll put it down to the fact we came near to the end of the day and we caught her feeling tired. Only one review??? Been going here since 2017 and it's a must stop in Paia. My car is adorned with surf stickers from here. No generic tourist stickers. Designs are fresh. Prices are totally reasonable. And sale items are legit good! On our last trip early July I left with two Ts, a hoodie, and more stickers. Don't go on your last day in town or you'll make those last minute impulse buys. Or do! Support local!...
