The first poor experience I had with this store in particular was when I was shopping online for an item for Christmas and it said that there was one in stock, so I bought said item, and they said it would be ready in two hours. I go two hours later and try to pick up the item and the lady upfront, some blonde woman with a terrible attitude, Told me that I didn't have an order there. I was confused so I pulled up my phone and about an hour and a half after placing my order I got an email saying that the item was out of stock. I get that things can be picked up and they are no longer in stock while you're shopping for said item, but the poor attitude from the people up front was what pissed me off.
Now today, I called at eight in the morning to see if they had any small propane tanks and I was told that they had four in stock. I said great can you please hold them for me and I will come within the hour to pick them up. she said "yes, I will hold them for you." So I am here now waiting in line at customer service to pick up my order and they can't find it. Do you know why they can't find it? Because they aren't doing their job when they're supposed to. Not only that, but there is no customer service when it comes to trying to resolve a problem and come up with a solution. They just look at you like deer in headlights and make you go on your way. Not only that, but when I was walking around the store, trying to find said propane tanks, asking multiple people that worked in the store, half the people knew what I was talking about and said they had them, and the other half didn't even know what a propane tank was and said they didn't carry them. Both of these incidents being so close together just makes me shake my head and roll my eyes to this target in general. I'll be going somewhere else...
Read moreTerrible experience! My family, together and individual members, have a long and pleasant history of shopping at various Targot locations. However, today was an unfortunate exception to this history. We (my daughter, my grandaughter, and me) were checking out at the Kiosk at this Target location when I noticed a staff person watching my daughter scan and place her items in the bags and pay for them. Then it was my turn, I too scanned my items and again noticed the same staff person was watching me scan each item and pay for them. My family is African American. After our experience I decided to observe this staff person's behavior with other paying customers. I observed the following: several caucasian customers scanned and paid for their items at the Kiosks and were not watched during their entire transaction. Another family of color - African American family with young children used the Kiosk to scan and pay for their items and like my family were watched during their entire transaction. So much so this staff person repositioned herself so she could get a better view. When all of the customers using the Kiosks were Caucasian the staff person left the Kiosk area. This behavior was troubling to me. She, the staff person I'm referring to was wearing a name tag with "Jennifer" on it and she was clearly unmistakably profiling Black folks. I had a strong desire to speak with her regarding what I had observed and I did. I spoke with her and shared my observation...she didn't deny it or apologize, but instead only said she walked away to get cash. The leadership of this location should invest in sensitivity training...it is certainly needed to help people like "Jennifer" to become...
Read moreRating change ! one of the managers at this target reached out and apologized for the situation, we came to a resolution and I am very grateful for the effort that was put forth to make it right. I truly appreciate the wonderful customer service that she provided and I am happy this is still way target dose business even though there was a misunderstanding prior.
I was told that they would price match an item I bought online to the sale that happened a week later I also had a spend 150 and get $25 off coupon on that as well. The manger said that when I got the item in to come in and they would just do a refund on the amount which was $30. When I came back few days later after I received the order they told me that they could not to that and the only thing they could do is return it then charge me for the new on sale price but would not give me the $25 off because they couldn’t stack deals(which is nonsense because I had already purchased the blender on sale and used this deal). Needless to say, I only received Little under $6 dollars On a purchase that I was told I would get $30 back on. Very unhappy with the customer service I received from this store because after all of that I went to go buy some toys that were on sale,I had them pulled up on my Target app but when I got to the register they were different prices (costing more) when I ask for the cashier to honor the app prices she told me she cannot do that so I asked politely for a manager and she told no. After more back and forth she got the price down to close to what it was on the app but I still had to pay more. Nevertheless, at least at this location, they do not honor...
