I can’t find much negative feedback about Hilton Garden Inn. It is located in a very busy location due to it being so near to the mall here in Woodruff. Definitely plenty of shopping, gas stations and restaurants to choose from. This Hilton location also neighbors the highway but I could not hear much noise which may be due to the fact that I am use to highway noise and the ac unit in the room was also fairly loud. The pool and restaurant were closed due to the Covid-19 precautions but bar is open at night (not sure of the hours or days but it is closed Sunday, I went on Saturday night). They have a pantry with a wide variety of snacks and drinks which I took advantage of twice while staying. The gym I did not visit but I took a peak and it was definitely well equipped for it being a “hotel gym”. I have no complaints about the room, it was very clean, comfortable beds, heavenly pillows, decent water pressure but my favorite part of the room was the bathroom mirror lighting! Downfall of the room was the microwave, it definitely took a day and half to heat my food to even room temperature. The refrigerator did its job but definitely did not keep things as cold as they could have been. Hilton Garden Inn is a pet friendly hotel so I brought my two furry babies. They have a designated potty spot for the four legged babies with poop baggies for use. Carol is part of the staff at Hilton Garden inn and she definitely melted my heart by offering my two doggos a treat when we were coming in one night. I thought that was the sweetest, most thoughtful gesture and it really did make staying here all that and more. It is very welcoming when staying at a pet friendly hotel and the pets are treated as guest as well. It really is the small things that go a long way. Jackson is super sweet and was willing to answer all my questions while providing excellent customer service. Jackson made my choice of choosing to stay here at Hilton Garden Inn much easier simply because of how well he provided customer service and how knowledgeable he was. Joseph at the front desk whom I saw most of my stay here is definitely a delight. He has such a vibrant attitude and he definitely put a smile on my face simply by being in his presence. I would choose to stay here at Hilton Garden Inn again and cannot thank the amazing staff enough for making my stay much more pleasant. (P.S there is some construction going on next door which may be a bother to some)

Hotel is conveniently located close to everything but also nestled slightly away from Woodruff so it's not super busy right in front of the hotel. One drawback is that the light to turn left on to Woodruff or go straight on to 85 north takes forever. Another downside is that it's right on I85. If you get a room facing the highway, you'll hear traffic all night long, even if the AC fan is running. Rooms facing the other way are much quieter. Internally, the lobby is nice and well kept up - like most Garden Inns. Unfortunately the rooms are starting to show their age. It looks like they were renovated half-heartedly recently with crappy Ikea-like headboards with attached tables. The ceiling was cracking and falling down in my bathroom and you could see where things were starting to come apart. I also had to change rooms when I checked in because I was missing a curtain on my window. Secondly, one of the two elevators was out of service the entire time I was there (a full work week) with no sign of anybody ever working on it. With a 6 story hotel, that meant long waiting times to get up to or down from the room. It really got irritating. Lastly, one morning the employee that preps the breakfast just didn't show up. The waitress had to pull out what should could but it was pretty sad. At the same time there were 3 front desk people that were just hanging out around the check-in area and chit-chatting while the poor waitress was having the most stressful day ever. Having had purchased a rate that included breakfast, too, I was just out of luck. I understand stuff happens, things break, people don't show up for work, rooms get old. But it feels like this hotel is being run with no margin or backup plans whatsoever. The employees were very nice, particularly the restaurant waitresses, but it just seemed like there was no infrastructure or support or a plan if anything unexpected happened. In all, this hotel is a decent value around $100/night. A questionable value around $130 a night, and definitely not worth anything more.

My children take their EOC testing here every year. Took my daughter there Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Well I enjoy the breakfast their while waiting on my daughter on Thursday and there was a lady in the kitchen named Jessica well I proceeded to ask her if she could cook me some turkey sausage and she yelled saying i dont cook turkey sausage everyday! I said to her i never said you did Jessica continued mumbling under her breath so I asked for a manager he came over to my table while i was informing him on his employee we both watched her slam the lid down over the eggs!! I ended waiting for my dau to finish testing and then we left. My son has testing today 05/26/23 and i get him signed in to go eat breakfast again and Jessica comes out of no where and rudely starts talking over me and the gentleman who cooks my turkey sausage to say not good morning but yelling loudly we cooked everything fresh being smart after I complained the food was cold yesterday i simply said I’m not talking to you and from there the police were calked 7 police telling me i had to leave my child who is special ed there and leave the property plus put me trespassing! All this after complaining to the manager again about this same lady Jessica who’s peers where just talking about how she came in the day before with a nasty attitude about an order that they did get completed on time. I never cursed or acted in an aggressive way towards the staff and to falsely accused of these things is traumatizing after loosing my husband 2 years to murder 04/25/21 has me in the hospital with chest pains! Not only was I treated disrespectfully but I was also treated in a discriminatory way and Defamation of Character has! Its obvious that Afro American People are not welcome here the staff and manager will make sure you know that! I was literally sitting on the sofa waiting on my son to finish testing taking pictures!

My family and I recently had a stay at one of your locations. From February 22 – 24 we stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Greenville at 108 Carolina Point Parkway, Greenville, SC 29607. We requested an accessible room (Room 220) as my wife is currently disabled and using a walker and wheelchair. The location was clean, the parking was great. The room was nice and very spacious. We were pleased with the accommodations. However, we had issues upon leaving on Monday. Our checkout time was 12 pm, but prior to 12, we received a knock on our door from housekeeping twice to see if we were still in the room. I have to prepare my wife to leave and get my daughter ready to leave along with packing all of our belongings. Both visits from housekeeping were between 9 and 11. As I am getting my wife prepared to leave, we went to the bathroom. As we were leaving the bathroom my wife walked over the shower drain in the middle of the bathroom floor and punctured the bottom of her foot causing her to lose her balance and almost falling. The drain appears to have sunk into the hardwood exposing the edges of the hardwood as you see in the attached picture. Also, prior to fully checking out, I had to take my wife and daughter to the car and load them in, then go back to collect our belongings. After going back to the room our room key did not work. It was about 11:50 at the time; before our 12 pm checkout time. The front desk person remade a key for me and stated that the issue happened to another room. I got the key and went back to the room and the new key did not work. I went back down to let her know the key was still not working. She misunderstood when I told her what room number I needed it for and created a new key for the correct room. I went back up to check get into the room and the key still did not work. I went down to the front desk for the 3rd time to let them know. This time she got a master key and went up to the room with me to let me in. As im supposed to have this done in a few minutes, meanwhile my wife and daughter are in the car waiting to leave and this process takes 30 minutes or more to fix this issue. This was extremely inconvenient way to end our weekend. We were here for a dance competition for my daughter, and she was exhausted from the weekend. My wife struggled because of her disability to walk on her own. The mishap in the bathroom made walking for her worse than before. What started out as a pleasant stay ended up being a stressful, nearly disastrous checkout. I would appreciate if the bathroom issue would be taken care of to prevent the next disabled person staying there to have a mishap that could potentially be worse, or someone who is by themselves with no help. Also please assure that there are resources to fix issues that inconvenience the customers and assure that housekeeping staff understand the checkout time that is...

This is the worst hotel that I have stayed at. I had so many issues from the first day I arrived there. I asked if there was complimentary breakfast, the front desk employee Jackson stated no not until Monday due to COVID-19, asked about GYM, was closed too. The only open thing was the pool.

We were given our room key to go to the room. When we got there someone else items were in our room. I booked our room two-three days before arriving. So why would they have someone else in our room? We were given another room and told they will look into the situation. Well, in the other room the refrigerator was not cold and did not work. Asked about it was told there were no other two queen bedrooms, the maintenance worker would not be in until Monday and if we wanted to we could put our items in their refrigerator. Which my family stated no because they did not want to come downstairs every time, they need anything. Then we tried to warm our food up, the microwave took forever to warm food just a little bit, food never got hot.

Before we left out the next day, we left all our trash and used towels on the floor for room services. When we left out, we saw the room service cart down the hall. When we got back that evening our room was left the same way as we left it which means no room services came. At this point I am so upset because I paid $109 per night and we did not get the right room, no refrigerator, microwave half work, no gym, no breakfast. I stayed because it was too late for me to cancel and call around to find another hotel that had 2 queen-size beds in the room. So, we went to bed. Monday day to leave, we went downstairs to get breakfast which we were told that you had to purchase a ticket for breakfast that cost $12 per person. With all that happen they did not even offer me any discount and I checked my acct today and they had the nerve to charge an extra $10. This place is a rip-off. Staff is so fake, each day the welcome us with their fake smile and asked if we needed anything but each time, we complained they did nothing about it. The room is not worth your money. I will never book here again. If I could give it a negative star...
