I’ve been to this place twice so far and overall I still enjoy it. Last experience wasn’t the greatest, though. It was their one year anniversary and they had a BOGO boba tea special. My wife got coconut pudding in her drink, and I asked for boba in mine. However when I had received my drink, there was no boba. I informed an employee about it and they briefly went to the back, and returned to tell me that they were out of boba. I completely understand why they were out, as me and my wife arrived fairly close to closing (it was 7:30 PM & they closed at 9 PM); I’m sure they had a bigger volume of boba drinks ordered that day due to the special.
The main thing that bothered me was the lack of customer service & professionalism. The employee just said “So we’re actually out of boba” and then walked away… Didn’t offer a substitute or apologized, or do anything considerate for that matter. I have seen several reviews in the past criticizing the lack of customer service, so it seems like it’s a somewhat persistent issue. Whoever owns/manages this establishment needs to put more focus on simply being friendly to customers if there’s an issue. Again, I COMPLETELY understand not having any boba available; that’s not my issue. As someone who has worked in the customer service field for years, it really isn’t that difficult to try to accommodate a customer when there’s an issue or inconvenience. I will still be coming to this place as their product is very good, however I wish my experience was...
Read moreI was so excited to try this place, but I was so incredibly disappointed. It doesn't even hold a candle to any of the other options for boba in Greenville. There's no option for sweetness or amount of ice, limited flavor options, and honestly, it didn't taste that good. My tea was not sweet at all, and my partner's was too sweet. We both got crystal boba and it was one conglomerated mass in the bottom of both of our teas, completely stuck together so it couldn't come up the straw. My partner's tea wasn't sealed correctly, and when they shook it, it spilled everywhere. We had intended to try their mochi donuts (because I love the ones at Mochibees) but they had less than 5 total in the case of 3 varieties and they looked stale. A staff member said there was some being made, but admitted she had no idea how long it would take. I paid for the upgrade to get a Sanrio plush but it was not very cute, and had several broken seams already. It was very cheap quality for $4.50. Seating is kinda limited as well. There is next to no seating for plus size people and it would be very difficult to navigate a wheelchair through the store, not to mention wheelchair users would not be able to reach parts of the kiosk you have to order from. Overall, was thoroughly disappointed and I will encourage others to try Mochibees or Ding Tea for a superior taste, variety, freshness and staff...
Read moreA nice spot in town, but the parking lot is a bit hectic. Once inside the staff is welcoming and you order through a touch screen pad. The options are easy and effortless but there isn't as much customization when we ordered like some and sweetness level (none that we could see at least) we ordered a few drinks off the menu and the mango tea with popping bubbles were delicious and fresh. The Vietnamese iced coffee was strong and came with a chocolate covered espresso bean which was a nice touch. One person in the party did order a milk Boba tea with Boba but it wasn't added. We went to the counter and they were quick to resolve it. The mochi doughnuts were delicious and has a nice pleasant chew and some fun toppings. The funnel cake, cookies and cream taro and butterfingers were the favorites. A bit pricey for the experience and a nice clean esthetic with pink and white dominating the...
