Hey, NEWSFLASH Rita Hughes!! ... the "sign In" (on arrival) tablet is/was (LITERALLY) right in front of you when walked in the door!! Should there have been a flashing Disco ball above it to get your attention?? Lol!! Chill, guurl! Just CHILL!! Listen, I'm just an ordinary average customer (I pay my bill there once a month and change out my equipment regularly) - and I'm speaking to all other (future) fellow customers: it seems like we're the problem - us customers with tech issues to resolve - that is .... Give these people - the store associates who are there to help us - a break. They work for a huge corporate entity and are hardly the source of our aggravation. Dig?? And directly to you Rita: All (you) wanted to do was drop off (your) Spectrum equipment?? ... So did 99% of the others - those who actually signed in Rita!! Didn't like their customer service (was awful)?? Bet'ch'ya they didn't like their customer either...
Read moreI totally agree with one of the previous reviewers: it's the doggone customers that seem to be the problem!! I don't know if it's the fact that people don't understand technology and therefore get belligerent the minute they don't get the answer they're seeking; or maybe it's that we're dealing with a pandemic and anxiety is at an all time high, or perhaps some combination of both. I just know this: people are CRAZY!! I go to the Golden Gate location once a month to pay my bill. It usually takes about 5 minutes to complete the task. Yet it seems every time I'm in the store I hear some kind of nuttiness. People being loud, rude and generally unruly, and in some cases literally yelling at the Customer Service/Sales Associates about some problem that they (the Associates) had nothing to do with in the first place. Man, I feel sorry for those folks. Think about it ... I'm guessing they're not making a ton of money - certainly not enough to take the kind of grief I've witnessed them taking - all while dealing with it in really professional fashion I might add. Bottom line?? The facility is beautiful (CLEAN) - and the people who work there are all nice, helpful and professional. Nobody likes Cable and Internet bills. And yes it's frustrating when the TV or Wifi goes out, but don't take it out on the employees who have nothing to do with setting (Spectrum) policy and procedures. FIVE STARS...
Read moreI see big improvement of service at this office lately, I have spectrum assist internet and cable tv (promo). I like spectrum because of "no contracts", it's a huge bonus and freedom. But I have problems with cable tv - although no problems with connections and pictures quality lately. Technical support is very good. I have grievance with content of stuff which is suggested for watching by some of channels. It's depressing! For me tv should be educational, informational, inspirational, should feed souls with beauty- good movies, performances, music, place to meet really interesting people. I was client of TWCable for a long time, had about 70 channels and was content with them. Now what left for me are local channels, PBS, BBC America,msnbc, cnn, hallmark,weather, USA, tnt,national geografic and several more with police serials. Otherwice it is macabre documentary crimes, killers, criminals, narcotics, prisons, death rows, freaks, mindless reality shows like suburban wife's of.... Almost no movies at all, except Just handfull of good the same movies aired again, and again many times and westerns. As for sports - I like that it is possible to watch british soccer premier league and world cup soccer games . It is very enjoyable.
