Spencer's — Local services in McAllen

I will forever love Spencer's as I have for many years, however the employees working that day weren't so much concerned about customers. It's seemed more of a task that the older lady had to help anyone, the young man didn't have jewelry case keys but seemed as though he was trying, possibly semi new and a lady hanging or removing shirts from above the jewelry case by the registers could clearly see my young child and I standing there as she dropped shirts more than once onto the top of the jewelry case throwing dust all over us (my only allergy as well 🤦🏻‍♀️) then looked right at us without saying a word as if she intentionally did it. The last time I went in, the person in charge opened the store a few minutes after they were supposed to so I was naturally upset, considering I had been there 15 minutes before opening to make it to a meeting I had planned. The person in charge had an attitude with me because they saw I was upset and in turn gave me no receipt upon purchase. I then called the store when I left to see if I could pick up my receipt and I was directed to a call line. I’m assuming they like to avoid their mistakes by letting a third party handle our complaints. Never again. Spencer’s as a company has gone vastly downhill. When I went to Spencer's, I was looking for a very specific product. I asked one of the workers named Perla about said product, and she ended up being super knowledgeable about it - way beyond what I was expecting. It was very clear that she had an expansive knowledge of the products within the store as a whole, and that she was really passionate with her work.
