Five Below — Local services in McHenry

This is one of my favorite stores ever! The best deals are the t-shirts, area rugs and the back rollers. All are only $5 and they're great quality, they would all easily be at least $20 at Target or Walmart. This is the perfect place to go for gift bags, small trinkets for birthdays or Christmas. Also, their water bottles are really good too, I got a half gallon water bottle that I've had for over a year and it's the best. I highly recommend taking a trip here every so often as their stock changes...

I'm particular when it comes to pricing and what I deem to be deceptive pricing. Don't appreciate a store called "Five Below" yet has items are in excess of that amount. Then the confusion and irritation of getting to the register and things ring up for more, despite the displays. What's worse is when the teen employee (Tyler) argues with me about the bin that's been turned around (so you don't see its price) and that i should know it's not $5. This place is very hectic during the holiday season. It's always overcrowded and messy. It's hard to trust a lot of the items that they sell, since the toys are bound to be plastic and easily breakable, the electronics are bound to be low quality and not long lasting, the media is going to be obscure or outdated.
