What a horrible place to eat. My son, daughter and i first time coming here. My son and i ordered all you can eat sushi and my 6 yr old daughter ate beef fried rice. Our first order of sushi took 20 minutes to come out and our 2nd order took a total of 35 minutes. We waited 10 minutes before the waiter took our piece of paper for our 2nd round and another 25 minutes and still waiting. There were a total of 6 tables out of maybe 25 tables so they were not busy at all. Not sure what kind of delivery or phone/pick up orders they had. Regardless of how many phone or delivery orders you have, you don't take 35 minutes for anyone having to wait for an all you can eat meals. The lady owner came and i said we waited for 30 minutes, can you please just put the reorder to go (about 15 pieces of sushi) because we have to go. At first she said ok. No apologies or anything. Instead she argues how busy they are and said there are many orders that was ahead of us. I said you have 6 tables total which 2 tables came after us. She then came back to our table and said they haven't even started making it yet and ask if we still want it? are you kidding me? I said yes, please have it to go. Finally 5 minutes later she brought the orders out and said they rushed it making it. Then she has the audacity to tell me if i take it home, they would need to charge me extras or she can just take the food and won't charge me anything. I was furious! Its not like this is our 3rd or 4th reorder. This is our second orders and we ordered only 15 pieces between my son and i so is not like we ordered alot of food to purposely take home. we have to waited 35 minutes and now you want to charge me? Sushi isn't even fresh, rice was hard like it sat for hours. If you can't accommodate or keep up with your already seated customers fast enough for all you can eat then don't serve all you can eat or don't take anymore orders! We weren't expecting like a 5 to 10 mins either, but 35 minutes between meals? The fact that they screwed up and still argued instead of being apologetic just made me even more furious. I will make sure i will not recommend or recommend to AVOID this place. DO NOT EAT OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE. HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. WOOW Sushi in algonquin is so much better in customer service and tastes 300...
Read moreMy partner and I share a deep appreciation for sushi, and our introduction to Sushi King came through recommendations from local friends who couldn't stop raving about the delectable Lunch Specials and the restaurant's knack for satisfying sushi cravings.
Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted by two courteous hostesses who inquired about our party size and promptly escorted us to our table. Beverage orders were taken with precision, encompassing a choice of soda, water, and Green Tea. The soda provided a refreshing, chilled respite, while my partner relished the steaming cup of Green Tea, thoughtfully accompanied by a glass of water.
We took our time perusing the menu, and as we set it aside, our attentive waitress was at our side within moments. Our orders were relayed, menus collected, and it didn't take long before our eagerly anticipated dishes graced our table, emanating enticing aromas.
Opting for sushi, I was pleased with the generous portions of rolls that arrived before me. By the end of our meal, my partner and I departed the establishment thoroughly satiated. Without a doubt, we plan to return for future dining experiences and enthusiastically recommend Sushi King to fellow sushi aficionados in the area.
While our dining experience was overwhelmingly positive, regrettably, I cannot award a perfect score. The sole blemish was the state of the restroom, which exhibited a slight degree of neglect, along with a malfunctioning toilet...
Read moreDid the all you can eat. Definitely not worth the $70 for two people. They didn't even bring out the right sushi. The restaurant was small and felt really cramped. While waiting for the chef to make your rolls your rolls the servers stood at the bar staring at us pretty much the whole time and checked on our table so often as to give the impression that they just wanted us out of there. You can get all you can eat sushi for much cheaper much cheaper and much better quality and actually I'm not getting the right sushi other places. I would not recommend This place to anyone. When we got there there is barely anybody inside. I'm guessing there's a reason for it. And don't even bother ordering the fried scallops. They're obviously straight out of a Box As the breading was not very crispy and they were very chewy. I have trouble eating 2 of them. Also if you do decide to go here only fill out one ticket between you and whoever else you are with. It would be extremely easy to overorder at this place and they charge you for whatever leftovers you...
