Meadow’s Nails Spa — Local services in Meadows Place

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I have say this is the worst place ever, when I first went to get my nails done, a full set. I was sitting in the last chair towards the back, I don't like getting sat there typically because I know - from the years ive been getting my nails done- that the woman who sit there have just started. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and let her do it. So as she started, she was doing all the filing, and cut me a couple of times, and just the end result was bad. this other lady stayed till 8 to fix it.

I went back again, and made it a point to sit with the owner, for her to do my nails, this was this past Thursday, my brothers wedding was on Sat. my nail was coming off already by Friday. so I went back to get it fixed, she did, I still wasn't happy, but I dealt with it. now its Thursday, a WEEK later. I already lost one nail, and the rest are coming off already. I have never had my nails get so mess up this soon!

PLEASE DONT GO HERE! I promise you will be disappointed!

I am extremely disappointed in this place!!!! I came in this evening and I asked for Katie (who happened to be unavailable at the time), so someone else, I think Linda, did my nails. She cut them way too short, and the acrylic was all over the place! After trying to correct them more than 5 times, I decided I was ready to go. Katie eventually came and attempted to fix them, to no avail. I let her know that I was NOT satisfied with my nails. Instead of them trying to redo them or offering me a discount, I was charged FULL price and told to “come back in 3 days if I don’t like them”, although it was clear I did not like them right then and there. I tend to be very poised, because I don’t like to argue at all, so I paid the full price and left!! I won’t be returning because I feel I was not treated fairly. Excellent experience today. Best salon visit in a long time. I’m new to Texas, and after several months of hit and miss, I finally found a salon that will be my new place. No TV and peaceful spa music, plus comfy chairs and a tequila sunrise in a real glass made this one of the best nail spas I’ve ever been to. I felt very relaxed. Even though it was a Saturday, I was grateful that they were able to start on my manicure while finishing my pedi. All the employees were bilingual and able to understand my requests. I brought a photo of ombre nails, and they were able to do exactly as I requested. I especially appreciate when a nail technician is willing to suggest a color based on my skin tone. I love my ombré mani, and am so happy that they listened to my request for short length nails instead of pushing me to have longer nails. I haven’t loved my nails this much for a very long time! I...
