edit The owner reached out and after talking to him on the phone he offered to take care of the problem with an exchange. He said he was not aware of my phone call and situation until the review. I found him to be professional and courteous and although we may disagree about seasoning he was a good guy and made it right. I went in bringing another friend who wanted to make a purchase. Sadly we just missed him and we’re met with a very odd staff confrontation including the person we originally made the purchase from. There was an odd comment on how they read the review and would just be doing an exchange. It was strange enough that we just left without making any additional purchases. I changed the review to 5 stars because ultimately Adam made it all good and I won’t hold some employee who got salty against him. Will have no problem going there again in the future but will try and make sure he is there before I go.

So I purchased a quartz slurper made by bear quartz. As well as over a hundred dollars in additional stuff. They did give me a discount but I would imagine that’s a sales tactic were you start with higher prices so you can make everyone feel special with a discount, but who knows. The sales person asks if I want the slurper seasoned, they said it helped and they would heat it and used water. I have never heard of this, but figured they knew what they were doing so said yes. So they do it I go home. By third dab at less than 650 it cracked badly. I say 650 because I use a gauge that measures up to 1k in 1 degree accuracy. But even if heated red hot it’s quartz or supposed to be so should take being abused. I did some research and I can only find negativity about seasoning any thing with water even titanium nails. All sources says Nono to water seasoning. When contacted they only said they would give me a 25 percent discount on another purchase. Not good enough for an issue they likely caused. One of the first google searches that came up was a guy who cracked his after just one use after having seasoned it with water. My fault for not being knowledgeable...

On June 6, 2024 I swung by looking for a specific coil for my tank that they didn’t have which is OK because the other three shops I went to didn’t have it either, but Shops have them in abundance in the Seattle area as well as Portland, but Medford loves disposables and salt nic, and that’s fine with me. Different smokes for different folks.

However I didn’t leave empty-handed. In fact, I left with more than I thought I was going to. I’m forgetting the gentleman‘s name who is there but what a pleasure. I normally hate going to smoke shops because people are either pretentious or they just seen bothered by your presence.

Not this dude though, he put me on game with some of his favorite products and now I am a fan of them too .

I would travel from as far north as Roseburg Oregon, and as far south as hilt California to come to this place again.

My goofy self lost my Palm pro somewhere in the redwoods, and I was shocked that they had one. Not just one but multiple different colors.
