We found this cute restaurant looking to find a change in where we eat. The restaurants does not open up until 5pm. When we arrived after 5pm the door were still locked. The wait staff are a group of young adults running a very nice restaurant. The female who never gave us her name let us seat our selves. She did come back and asked us what we wanted to drink, I had to ask about specials or any recommendations. The bar area is where all the other wait staff hung out and never got out in the restaurant to take care of the customers. We had appetizers of Claims in white wine and butter sauce and some type fried wonton stuffed with cream cheese and spinach which were amazing. Eve the the little salad had a salad dressings honey and Chile. The Caesar salads tasted great with hint of anchovy. Our main meals were Chicken Picante and spouse had Chicken Alfredo. This is were everything went wrong.. My chicken was rubbery and they poured half the bottle of capers and juice into my spaghetti. My spouses cream sauce was curdle. It had big chunks of Broccoli . The main dishes were horrible. I don’t think there is any check or balance in the kitchen who are tasting what is going out of the kitchen. I’m not sure that I will be back. There is potential in this restaurant but they need to find a new chief…. Yuk on the main dishes

Tried this tonight for the first time with visiting friends and we were so delighted! The food and drinks were absolutely 10's! The prices so reasonable, the quality so high, and portions so generous! I had the wild shrimp linguini with Cajun cream sauce. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the sauce was plate licking good. Spicy, creamy, yum. The veal parm was huge and delicious with lots of fresh parm. The Caesar salad also a delicious version of a classic. The chicken scallopini was very caper forward, so if that's not your favorite try something else. We started with brushetta which was a wonderful surprise, soft and sumptuous, unlike the crispy version most restaurants serve. I had a paloma (drink) to start and could have sat there drinking those delicious, spicy drinks all night, and reasonable at $10. Great and reasonable wine list. Couldn't try dessert this time around, but we'll be back! P.S. I gave atmosphere only 4 stars because it's a bit noisy in there with high ceilings, an old building, and sound bouncing around. Don't think it could be helped and wouldn't stop me from going back. Wonderful lighting and bar. Photo of my wild shrimp linguini. Everything else was eaten too fast to photograph. 😆

I will start by saying we loved the food! I had tried to call to make a reservation a few times and left a message with my name and when we wanted reservations but did not get any response and did not have reservations when we arrived. However, it was 5:15 and they were not busy so we were seated immediately. We chose to sit up by the window which I slightly regret cause the sun eventually comes right in and you get pretty warm. We ordered lobster stuffed mushrooms, and bruschetta to start. You only get 4 mushrooms but they were pretty delicious. The bruschetta was great, not individually sliced pieces of cheese, just a big block of mozzarella but it worked out and presented well. We ordered two main dishes that we shared; the Veal Piccata and the Veal Scallopini. They were both very good but I enjoyed the Veal Scallopini the best. The mix of artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and capers was very delightful and provided an array of flavors. The veal was cooked just right and was a decent portion for the dish. Pomodori is among the top restaurants that we have had in Medford and will likely go again.

Let me start off by saying that I heard good things about this restaurant and I was excited to try it out for myself.

That's where the excitement stopped. I made reservations for my girlfriend, daughter, and I for Valentine's Day. At $50 a plate I figured that that was reasonable and that the food would be delicious.

The meal included a starter, which we chose the Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms, the entree was the Chicken Pasta Rossa Maria and Caesar Salad, my daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese, and for desserts I ordered the Chocolate Torte Amour. It also came with two glasses of wine and a Shirley Temple.

The ambiance inside the restaurant is incredible and very beautiful and warming. This is the amazing part of the experience.

Now for the bad.

The wine and Shirley Temple came out almost immediately. The lobster stuff mushrooms were delivered in about 20 minutes and there were only three small mushrooms. I don't know how one could consider this a starter or an appetizer as it was severely lacking.

It took another 45 minutes for our chicken entrees and mac and cheese to come out. The mac and cheese that my daughter ordered was actually quite delicious, however the chicken pasta entrees that I ordered were a huge disappointment. The chicken was virtually non-existent in the mountain of pasta that I was served. Additionally it looked as if the noodles weren't completely drained as their was quite a bit of liquid still in the bottom of the dish.

Needless to say none of us finished our entrees as this was quite possibly the worst Italian food I have ever had.

The chocolate tort amour was a very small thin slice of some chocolate concoction. It resembled partially baked brownie batter that contained an overabundance of cocoa, we didn't finish this either as yet again it was a huge disappointment.

At the end of it all, almost 2 hours later, I received the bill for dinner which included charges for things that should have been included with the $50 a plate Valentine's Day special.

Quite honestly during all of this I was tempted to get up and walk out but because I had heard good things about this restaurant I wanted to give them a chance.

We would have been better off going to the Olive garden or something of the like. We would have had better service and without a doubt the meal would have been to our liking.

I definitely am one to support local businesses but this experience was extremely frustrating and a huge...

Honestly the worst food and experience I've ever had at a restaurant unfortunately. We arrived and were ignored for a good 15-20 mins. Then when we thought we were finally going to be acknowledged they skipped over my husband and I to talk to a older couple. I don't know if it is because we are in our late 20s but we are very respectable and I thought that was extremely rude. We were then told it would be 30 minutes to seat and we stayed since we had already been waiting and other restaurants close so soon. We were seated and ordered a drink and app. My single drink took at least 30 minutes to get to me and the bar did not look busy at all. App took about 40-45 minutes to get to us after ordering. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. We then got the salad about another 15 minutes later (would not recommend). Then finally our dishes came out about 30-40 mins after our salads....and omg...the worst chicken fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had....the sauce was curdled. The broccoli and chicken tasted burnt...my husband had a lighter wine based sauce and his was ok but for that long I was really expecting some good pasta. I will never recommend this restaurant. They need some new recipes and to get another waitress and a hostess. For the love of God. Hire a hostess....to wait for food of course sucks but to be so disrespected is another thing all together. We were also celebrating being on our honeymoon so that just really put a sour taste in my mouth. I really hope this restaurant pulls it together because it has potential.

I will say my drink was delicious. I ordered an orange and red. Very sweet and delish. Would only recommend this bar MAYBE for a drink (only if you want to sit...
