Order was supposed to be ready by 11/30/22. By that time, only a portion of my order was ready (Black Ruger EC9S). I called the store on 12/2/22 and was hung up on once by the department, once by the customer service department, and once by the receiving person. After being hung up on a third time and still not knowing the status of the remains of my order, I decided I no longer wanted the two Ruger EC9S's that I ordered and that I would take my business elsewhere. Called the 1-800 number on 12/2/22 and spoke with an associate who told me my refund would be processed within 3-5 business days. I am still very upset that they charged my bank account for products that they had not yet received for my order. In any case, my cancellation was not processed in 3-5 business days as the charges to my bank account were not reversed. I called in and spoke to a very rude associate today 12/9/22 who after making me wait on hold nearly 20 minutes, told me that in fact I had not called on the second and that my cancellation would now be submitted. I was then told that it would take 3 WEEKS before they would get to my cancellation and once processed it would take an additional 7-10 business days, using Oregon's new law as an excuse for their repeated incompetence in processing this order. The same associate later told me that she had "found my call on the second" but the timeline I was given still stands. I respectfully expressed my disapproval of this and the associate robotically just repeated everything again. This is unacceptable to me. This is only the second time I have done business with Sportsman's Warehouse, and based on this experience alone, I will NEVER patronize this business again. Furthermore, I will be sure to share this experience with my friends and family and will urge them to refrain from doing business with them as well. I will also leave negative reviews on all available channels. Lastly, I will be disputing these charges with my bank as I find it unacceptable to wait 6 weeks for a cancellation to process. You guys really messed up. I am a good and loyal customer and you will NEVER receive even $0.01 of my business ever again. YOU ARE DOING IT...

Customer service is horrible, and all the prices have gone up.
I tried to purchase a firearm on sale. The item wouldn't ring up at the sale price in the store. The sale was listed on their website and the employees and manager couldn't figure out how to adjust the price in store. They told me to order it online to get the sale price even though it was in stock in the store.
I paid online and had to return two weeks later after the background check cleared.

When I went to pickup the item the employee (skinny white lady with dirty blonde hair) took forever to find my order in the back. Once we went to the checkout to finalize my order for accessories she charged me a SECOND time for the firearm. I told her I already paid for the firearm. She never apologized for charging me $1,029 incorrectly. She looked confused; I asked, "shouldn't orders that are already paid for be tagged (ALREADY PAID) when they are set aside in the back inventory?" She said, "no, we have to run the order number in the computer and then credit the customer with a gift card". SPORTSMAN's Warehouse is a circus!!!
I had to show her my online order number. After she adjusted my current order, the balance was still wrong ($100 too high). I told her she charged me the current non-sale price and subtracted the sale price that I had already paid. She finally fixed this.
This has to be one of the most complicated purchases I ever had. Good thing I was paying close attention at the checkout counter or I would have been charged $1,029 for an item I already paid for or $100 extra for an item I already bought on sale.
I won't be returning here for large purchases. And recommend everyone check out alternative stores...

Initial contact with the people at the handgun section was pretty positive, until we decided to order from them our handgun of choice. We asked the rep if it matched the features we wanted... i.e. external safety. He said yeah, they have it at another store and for $40 bucks it should be at the store within 2 -3 days. Great. The next day, my wife called to verify the model number, we were surprised that the model variant did not have the feature we wanted, having confirmed it from the rep the night before. We asked them to cancel but the rep asked her to give them 2 days to find the variant we had wanted and mentioned that the order is still sitting on the manager's desk and wasn't yet authorized by their manager . We even told him that since we ordered it from the store, we're not worried about the $40.00. However, he said that we can get the $40.00 back, no problem. A day later, my wife got a call from them saying they have the handgun we ordered. Huh?? My wife told them that they had cancelled that order since it wasn't what she wanted. The rep again mentioned that he had 20 people on the waiting list for that model and we can get the $40.00 back. My wife went back to the store today to get the refund and was called to the back. She was basically told that they will not give them the refund. She asked to speak to the original rep that took the order and the manager. She was told that they both weren't there. WTF??? What a hassle. They need to develop...
