Tiff's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Medford

This is a retail location, so that evidently means that there is only one register in the back of another store. The line was very long, and it took about 30 min to reach the front. When I got to the front, I needed an envelope to enclose my small item in to mail, but had the address ready to write on it. I wasn’t able to get the envelope earlier as they are only held behind the counter and despite walking to the front twice to try and get one I couldn’t as I didn’t want to interrupt other customers transactions. The employee ‘R’ said I could fill the envelope out up there but she’d help the next customer while I did that. Ok, that’s somewhat understandable. She helped the next customer and finished just as I completed my envelope. I looked up said ‘great’ and was about to hand the envelope over when she held a finger up to my face said ‘you’ll be next’ and took yet another customer behind me. This was so rude I was shocked. Also, the price for my very small item was $3, which makes me wonder if using retail locations incurs extra fees. Please save yourself the time and frustration and go...

While this store is ok, the service leaves a lot to be desired. My 80 yr old friend was shopping in there, all of a sudden she needed the restroom badly. They would not let her use theirs and told her to go to BiMart next door. If you are in desperate need, who has time to run to another store, where a membership is required and the restroom is on the opposite side of the store. So it's ok to recommend another business bathroom, where a person isn't shopping, over letting someone use yours, where they are shopping and have been in your store multiple times over the last week? Of course, she didn't make it in time and had an accident. I understand rules, and there is lots of drug use in the area, but come on, an 80 yr old lady, in her church best, you couldn't show some grace and let her use it?!?!

After all was said and done, she still came back and purchased several hundreds of dollars in merchandise.

Horrible customer service here! My husband and I who just lost a son went in to return a journal that we were going to use as a guest book for a memorial, still in the original bag with the receipt from yesterday and we were treated as thieves. Patti asked us very accusatory where the pen was. This journal and the other one just like it on the shelf did not have a pen with them. I grabbed the other to show Patti. She just rolled her eyes. I asked to speak to the manager and spoke with Jill who was the assistant manager. After not being impressed with what Jill said, I asked for the owner, Stephanie who was in the back and explained what had happened. She agreed that it was poor customer service and said she would address it. As we were walking out Patti was smirking, as if she did not care.
