After being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at 22, I knew chemo meant losing my hair. Sharon, who I did know before my diagnosis welcomed me with compassion and made the whole experience feel less overwhelming. I have been rocking the bald, but I also wanted to try a wig. Sharon never pressured me, let me try out so many pieces and colors. I’ve always been blonde with very long hair, but since I didn’t choose to lose my hair, I thought why not get the choice to choose something different. I wanted a reddish brown with highlights and some lowlights and Ellen absolutely worked her magic and KILLED it. It turned out so perfect. The kindness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond (evening squeezing me in for walk ins on accident) has meant so much. I have been a client of Studio 2 almost from the beginning, starting with Travis, Sharon Johnson's husband, now retired, and more recently with Sharon. Sharon Johnson is a true professional and artist at her work. Finding a hairpiece is not that difficult, finding someone with the talent and skills to cut in a hairpiece properly is the challenge.
