DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. It is so sad that you can't support black businesses. I will admit I had an amazing time when I made my first visit on Feb. 22. It was so amazing that I spent $511 at someone else's table and I made reservations on Feb. 27 for May 3rd (my bday is May 2) not knowing my credit card would immediately be charged. I thought just like many clubs you pay once you get there or on the date of your actual reservation's date. I picked a $689 package and reserved the premium room that requires you to spend $100 per hour. If you've partied with me especially for my bday you know it's nothing for me to drop $1k especially with good libations and music. Nevertheless, the next morning when I realized what I thought was a simple authorization was an actual $789.06 charge, I canceled because I was not going to pay interest on a party two months in advance when I can use the money for immediate usage. I actually had a full Memphis in May theme and planned to get another table on May 5th to pregame before the Music Fest Finale.
So, expecting a full refund due to the cancelation message not mentioning anything about no refunds I only called twice to check on the processing of my refund and I wanted clarification on the $100 additional charge. I was under the impression that there was no deposit because the person whom made the reservations for my initial visit said they were only required to use their credit card to hold the reservations and of course we met the required spending amount so they weren't charged anything. Even when the manager walked me through how to make reservations on my phone on the night of 2/22 she said my card just held the room and my party of 20 was expected to spend $100 per hour.
Needless to say, when I called today, I was told the package was prepaid and the deposit was nonrefundable. I was told I would not be refunded any monies and my reservation was not offered to be reinstated. THIS IS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS and will not ever receive mine again. Too bad, because this was going to be my hang out spot.
If you have a venue with better service let me know, because I still plan to celebrate my first birthday back in Memphis celebrating Memphis at the World Famous Memphis In May...
Read moreI’m going to try and keep this PG but this place is so unprofessional when it comes to sitting someone on time! We had a booth reservation at 830 and didn’t get seated until 915 ish. Mind you the girls who are to sit you told us that our wait would only be 15 mins! At first we felt comfortable and the atmosphere felt like we weren’t even in Memphis. Then after like 10, they started to let any and everybody inside so the temperature changed and so we began to get hot! Businesses in Memphis don’t succeed because they get greedy and just are out for money! Yes it’s great to make money but if you are not here to please people and make every experience the very best then why even do what you do. Customer Service is already not at its best these days! I commend our waitress for being in a bad situation to come and tell us an hour into eating and drinking that we will need to pack up and leave! She said we only reserved seats for two hours. Mind you that we hadn’t even been sitting for two hours! She went and got her shortman manager and he proceeded to tell us if we had said something before now then he would have been able to fix it! He acknowledged that it was wrong but there was nothing that he could do since his next reservation was here! We mentioned to him that the table before us wasn’t pressured to move out on time then why should we! This is where I say BullS... His staff was so wrong for not keeping things in order and he was so unprofessional for blaming the customer for not making him do his job! Mind you that we just had two people to just come in and ordered drinks and wasn’t even able to eat anything! Like I said some Businesses in Memphis need a wake up call!! They are so quick to judge and talk to people the same when problems can be worked out gently than throwing a group out who was celebrating someone’s 42nd Birthday. This is truly a milestone that we won’t forget and spending any more money or recommending this place is simply in our rear view mirror! I feel sorry for the real deal management because they left their baby in hands of a simple...
Read moreOver all we had a good time, but the staff could have provided us better accommodations. My husband and I chose to get together with some friend at the Wknd for our Anniversary. Therefore, we took the necessary precautions in planning for the occasion. A week prior to our event we went by the Wknd to see the layout. We spoke to a server and told her exactly where we wanted to sit and was quoted $300 for two hours in the area we wanted. She took down my information and texted me later in the day to let me know if I wanted to secure our spot to make a reservation online. I made the reservation shortly after I received her text. The area we reserved was the Junior Suite for approximately 15 – 20 people.
When we arrived on the day of our reservation, we did not get the area we asked for, nor did we get an area to that accommodated our group. Lucky only 8 of the people we invited came. However, we still did not have enough room for everyone to sit together. The Manager came out and told me she could find me a spot then she told me she couldn’t find us a spot. Then she said she could maybe move us, but my group would be broken up. Have of my guest stood the entire time because they were not able to sit, due to lack of accommodation by the Wknd. I specifically set-up my reservation to accommodate my group.
Then we placed our order, the server, food, and drinks were great. I wanted to order a Hookah and was told they didn’t have it. Hookah was advertised on the menu. Why have an item on the menu that can’t be purchased? My husband and I both inquired about why they did not sale hookah and was told that they did not have the space for it. And again, I ask, why have it on the menu.
We ended up spending well over $300 that night. When you spend that type of money the service should be excellent and accommodating. We would like to come back, but why come back to a place where you don’t get the quality of service...
