Cal True Value — Local services in Menifee

So, I bought a new TV that did not include wall mount hardware. I went to Lowes first and I approached an employee and said “Hi!”. That was meet with silence for about 10 seconds followed by “we don’t have that” after I asked for this specific bolt. He said it’s “specialty”. I was about to head to Home Depot and decided to call TruValue real quick. Best thing I did. Someone answered immediately and even checked to see if they had the bolt I needed. Yep! They had it. Went over and the nice employee walked me over and pulled the bolts for me. Saved me sooo much time. I will be going back here from now on. I’m personally in the lumber and hardware business as an outside sales person in the industry. Regardless of what, I have always used local True Hardware and Ace Hardware locations for quick need personal needs. Visiting this location in Menifee, I have had several negative experiences. I stood in line for several minutes while the person ahead of me and the sales counter person where discussing where to go to get the best local tattoo. Another visit to the same location, I asked an associate for a location of an item and was treated as if I was interrupting his...

I believe in shopping local, so I always check here first. Nice clean well stocked store. The only negative thing I would offer is that staff NOT speak negatively about your customers, especially in their presence. This either assumes staff thinks customers' aren't smart enough to know or that staff doesn't care. I didn't name the staff involved on purpose, but I will if this seems to happen repeatedly.
