I went through the drive through and ordered two classic grilled chicken burritos and a chili cheese fry, no drink. The total came to 16$ and some change. After I paid for the food the drive through worker asked if I wanted hot sauce, I replied "yes, the hot please". She threw a hand full of mild into my bag. She tried to hand it to me and I said "No, I asked for hot sauce, can I please have hot" she told me the mild is the hot. I said ok well can I have some of the hotter kind then and she argued with me and kept insisting that the mild was the hottest sauce they had. Finally I had her show me all of the sauces they had and let her know I want the orange one labeled del inferno(that says HOT right above the name) and she hands me two packets. As of this whole scenario isn't enough I drive home with my food, change out of my work clothes, sit down and pull two bean and cheese burritos out of the bag instead of my chicken burritos. So I drive all the way back to dell taco to get a refund for my food. They can't give me the refund because the card I paid with is in my wallet that I left at home. I asked if he was serious when the manager said there was nothing he could do unless I came back again with the card(never offered to replace the food, or offer a gift card for the price of the meal) I walked out in frustration, realized I needed my receipt to make a complaint and walked back in to get it from the manager, but none of the employees would acknowledge me or give me the receipt back so after five minutes of standing and waiting I left. So now I've spent a bunch of time and gas driving back and forth, and 16$ for 2 bean and cheese burritos and some chili fries, and no receipt to file a complaint...
Read moreThis place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! This is the closest Del Taco to my house and so I’ve been here a few times and question why I continue to return!!! It’s the worst, ever! Drive thru is ALWAYS extra slow and the they cover up their timer! It took 27 mins and there was 4 cars in front of me! They obviously don’t follow Del Tacos standards because none of their food is up to standards whatsoever. Their management is horrible and the customer is never put first! Corporate really needs to step in and make some changes! Avoid this Del Taco!!!!
6/4/2020 I was here about a month ago and had the above issue and called corporate and they sent me a $10 voucher. Anyway, today I went to that Del taco with a positive attitude in hopes that I could use my $10 voucher without having any issues. Boy, was that a joke! I went to go use my voucher inside and the manager said their register wasn’t working and I would have to come back another time. I said that this voucher expires in a couple days and I didn’t want to come back and if there was something else they could do for me. After going round and round for about five minutes she suggested that I get back into my car and go through the drive-thru )which was 7 cars deep) because that register will take my Voucher. I was super upset and asked her why she couldn’t just walk over to the drive-thru register and put in my order and she said that she couldn’t interrupt the drive-thru girl taking orders. Read moreI am absolutely astounded how this place can continually screw up as bad as they do. I went late through drive through and ordered an extra crispy fry and two snack tacos. Late at night with no cars behind me. Get the order and go home to eat which is no more than a couple minute drive down the street. I open the order and the fries are lukewarm at best with a uncooked but greased fry sitting on top. None of the fries are extra crispy. Half of them are actually room temp/cold. Snack tacos? The meat was the same temperature. There is absolutely ZERO chance that meat was held at a safe temp. It was cold under my finger. I will be filing a complaint with the health department. These employees are going to get someone sick. Corporate is getting an email as well.
It would be one thing if this was a one off but it is CONSTANT that this place screws up. And then when they do screw up and we let them know, they give you all the attitude like we're the jerks for calling out their incompetence.
This is not the first time they're screwed up my order but it will be the last. I will GLADLY drive to the other side up Menifee for Taco Bell. Hell, I'll go further than that and go to the other Del Taco off...
