Sun City Plaza — Local services in Menifee

No flavor. Awful uncooked rice. The cook was probably trained in a "Commissary Type" environment. The yellow American Cheese was tasteless. The refried beans were not mashed up very well and had no taste at all. Their food and cooking style, reminded me of the type of tasteless greasy cooking you will find all over Los Angeles. That kind of food is for tourists from the East Coast or Europe. I live a mile from this eatery. I would rather travel 20 minutes away to Temecula or an hour and 10 minutes away to San Diego. Still haven't found a good Mexican Food place in Menifee. There cooking, much like Pepi's, Carnitas Express, Provecho, Tejabanes, are all geared towards tourists that burn their tongues on a slice of carrot...

Horrible outdated layout. Lots of great shops in the plaza but it really needs to be redesigned. There is a lot of one way and roads crossing with little or no signage on which way people should be traveling. I've seen a few close calls there due to this. It's also an eyesore for our great city. You go one exit down to Newport and everything is shiny and new then here on the McCall exit we have this. This one makes it hard to leave a review because I was only there the one day for the dollar store but it seems like this place has gone down hill in a major way within the last past few years and it seems to be more welfare recipients and game and I'm not saying that you're on welfare you're in gangs it just seems to be more of the same stuff you find all over Southern California which is sad it makes the shopping adventures Fillmore like chores and something that you really don't want to get out of...
