When my wife and I first entered we were waiting to be seated mind you know one else in line. There was a young lady sitting in the hostess booth totally ignoring us and on her phone. We were the seated by another employee. Ordered our meal and when I got about a quarter of the way in my $17 omelet I noticed that there was no beef in the majority of the omelet, the menu had described it as "Stuffed with.... And believe me it wasn't stuffed with anything but egg and hot air. I had informed my server and even showed her there was no beef and she brought it back to the cook and kindly told him to remake it. It was then i overheard very loudly the cook arguing with the server over the fact he refused to remake it. I then asked forthe manager for now being concerned over my food integrity because of the fact the cook was so reluctant to remake it properly. The manager came out , I explained what had transpired and she came back assuring my food will be fine ECT. Very shortly after she came out again not even giving me time to enjoy my lunch hot or in peace she proceeded to inform me she watched all cameras insisting she saw him put the beef in. I then explained to her maybe he did but it wasn't equally distributed and I would like to enjoy it as the menu described it and especially since for the price of $17. For $19.95 the night prior my wife and I enjoyed a lobster tail and two filet mignon medallions with a cold crisp salad and hot bread with no attitude. Here at Ihop the manager just wanted to argue instead of righting a wrong. We will not be returning . The two stars for service was not for our server, she was great, it was for the service we received from the kitchen...
Read moreThis has to be the worst IHOP ever!! Rude!! Uncaring!! And no expectants of disability’s!!! When talking to what I can only guess was the manager (although she never identified herself). In stead of lessening to me and letting me talk all she could do was say calm down while I was talking. I was calm until the 10th calm down. She made it abundantly that Mobil and online orders were at the bottom of her priority’s. That patrons just coming in were the main priority. She didn’t even bother to acknowledge the employee next to her that was trying to help me. Then this horrible person has the nerve to call my husband after I left and told her I was going to write this review. She tells my husband I am the district manger and I am comping your meal today and you have a $20 gift certificate. So when I got home he asked where’s the food. Well let’s see the lady only wanted to tell me to clam down never did she ask anything of relevance to help me. I final left telling her to cancel my order because the only thing she wanted to say was calm down. (Even when I told her I am clam this is how I talk due to a medical issue of me havering to force air through my windpipes at a greater degree than most people just to be heard. Her response clam down) So of course when I get home he’s thinking I have the food because she said she was comping it, no that she had canceled the order.
If this is how management runs this place, it’s disgusting. Also if car-side is such an inconvenience and the bottom of the barrel for them then they should remove the option!!! Next time I will make the drive to the other IHOP where the management is polite and cares about their customers no mater how...
Read moreIHOP has a long tradition, or should I say existence? In the past if my memory does not fail me, their food in general was definitely better. Today, after insisting on the part of the ladies in the family, I returned after many years hiatus I returned but I would not say triumphantly, for the food left quite a bit to be desired. I do not blame the after effects of the pandemic, or even the pandemic when in force for the lack of culinary skills on the part of the cooking crew, or even the quality of ingredients used, for I strongly believe in those who want and know how to deliver good fare. Service was prompt and accommodating throughout. Food: Grilled Chicken VegSalad, $13.29. Lady who ordered it liked it very much with Balsamic dressing. Nice serving, carried half back home. 4 Stars. Farmer Hot Sampler Breakfast Feast?, $15.99. This is where the boat started taking in water. Big and link Sausages, nice amount. 1 strip smoked bacon. A couple of pieces of ham. Two eggs over medium, Sourdough toast, 2 Pancakes, that truly have lost all appeal regardless of how much butter and syrup used to help. Really sad for once upon a time this was their stellar choice, many recipes ago. All the meat sweating with oil/grease (whichever sounds nicer), flavor average at best, mediocre at worst. Not a pretty sight, bite. 2.5 Stars. Seniors Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausage links, 2 pancakes. Our lovely senior eats like a lumberjack but in actuality is a 120 lbs beauty. No pauses until plate is consumed absolutely. 3.5 Stars. Total with gratuity was dangerously close to big 50. I’m sure they have plenty of items the fine customers enjoy, but I give this...
