Walgreens Pharmacy — Local services in Menifee

The wait time at the pharmacy, whether you're inside the store or in the drive through, is terrible. They just will not hire enough people to work both the front pharmacy counter and the drive through. Forget about calling. They put you on hold, and never come on the line to tell you they'll be right with you. They just keep hitting the hold button. The last time I was put on hold, it was for an hour and twenty minutes. I had one other problem at the beginning of the year. My doctor sent over a prescription for me for my pain medication, which I get filled, perhaps twice a year, sometimes, only once. I don't take it very often. After waiting several days and not hearing from Walgreens, I called and got the call center. They told me they had not received any prescription for me. I happened to have an appointment with my doctor that day. I told him Walgreens said they never received the original, so he sent over another prescription. The next thing I know I have restrictions on how many pills I can get and I get a letter from Walgreens, accusing me of doctor shopping! I have been seeing the same doctor and using the same pharmacy since 2007. All they had to do was look at my record to see how seldom I get this prescription filled. Instead they accused me of doctor shopping and restricted my access to my medication.. Other than them accusing me of doctor shopping when I was told the first prescription was never received, and the wait times on the phone and at the pharmacy, I have no problem with walgreens, store...

I've been coming here a while now and I am just so grateful for the patience that the staff has for "problem orders". My IEHP doctors have great struggles with my prescriptions for some reason and I constantly have issues. Most recently, I had foot/calf surgery last Friday and even though I had just come from the hospital, by the time I got to Walgreens, my doctor had cancelled my pain medication, apparently he submitted it to the hospital pharmacy even though my paperwork clearly said Menifee Walgreens. After many hours of back and forth and conversations with one of their fabulous techs named Emily, we finally got it worked out and I was able to receive my meds. Another woman, either named Gabrielle or Gabriella, was also helpful during this struggle. I'm just so grateful for their help as they took a very frustrating situation and helped me through it with their kindness. Emily has helped me in the past too and even when there's a huge line, she's got a smile and is doing her best to help people. Plus, she also has really cute earrings. The pharmacy is open 24 hours and accepts Kaiser which is awesome since there is no kaiser pharmacy nearby. I was visiting Murrieta and had to go to ER due to my child getting sick and I thought that getting my kids meds was going to be tough and I would have to wait till the next day but I found this Walgreens close by and was able to get my kids prescriptions filled...
