Donut Star — Restaurant in Menifee

Very disappointed. Ordered 4 dozen doughnuts with Christmas sprinkles. I was charged $5 extra per dozen over regular price. When I went to pick them up they did not have the holiday sprinkles on them. I got a lame "I am sorry, but here are the extra doughnuts. " Thanks but I get these anyway, and at a cheaper price per dozen. Not sure why they charged extra for doughnuts they already carry in their case. If I didn't promise a classroom full ou f students doughnuts, I would have left them and gotten my money back. Very frustrating. I hope this is not the norm. This donut shop has a great selection of donuts. i appreciate that they have a selection that is outside the box for typical donut shops. They are fair priced and always seem to have enough donuts on the shelf. Even coming in later in the morning they have a great selection. This shop compared to others in our area has a much better selection including Cronuts, Fruity pebbles, Bacon covered long johns, cinnamon sugar twists, Jalapeño Ham and Cheese croissants etc. Definitely worth the visit. We might have just been lucky, but this donut place seems to always have what we want available (chocolate bar, cream cheese croissants, and ham & cheese croissants) and they taste fresh. A lot of other donut places have that day old taste. Update: We've been coming here for a while now. There's this lady that's usually there and has a nasty attitude.
