Vowell's Cash Saver — Local services in Meridian

While traveling back to Georgia, my family and I stopped at this store to buy Bryan hot dogs, which aren't available in our area. After using the restrooms, a security guard unexpectedly approached my husband and told him he needed to leave the store. Confused, my husband tried to understand who the guard was speaking to and what the issue was. The guard, armed and speaking in a stern tone, claimed my husband was causing a problem and needed to leave immediately, even removing his hat while emphasizing he "wasn't playing."

It wasn’t until another employee, who was accompanying the guard, clarified that my husband was not the person they were "looking for" that the situation de-escalated. Although the guard offered an apology, the experience was both embarrassing and frustrating, leaving a lasting negative impression. I strongly urge the management to ensure that contracted security personnel receive thorough training in handling such situations professionally...

I was a little disappointed on my visit to the Cash savers this go-round I went because I always go every time I come in town and also it was my favorite spot to eat at when I lived here but today the woman just seemed like she had a very nasty attitude it seemed like she wasn't happy with being at work she had gold hair I just feel like if you're not happy where you work or if you're not in the mood to deal with customers then you should call out that day the biscuits are terrible now the biscuits used to be so soft and now they're nasty the service is not as hospitable as it used to be and the grits have gotten...

It's a clean place with great prices on most things especially produce and meats. The cafe/deli I'd awesome. The food is down home good country cooking; but, if you are a female alone it's not a safe place. If you get your purse stolen inside the store they will not even call the police, even though it is on security camera. They will not help in any way. They are sorry not to help their customers and protect the theives but that's the way it goes there. They have Christian music playing which is nice but they do not worry about safety for their customers. My suggestion is if you're a female alone stay away...
