Absolute worst customer service at the Meridian location 12/27 approx 6PM. I've visited Zurcher's (between multiple locations) for NY Eve, graduations, birthday balloons, baby shower balloons and supplies etc for the past 20+ years. Tonight's visit had me seriously wishing for another party store in the valley. I asked about multiple party items for a 21st birthday. Each time I asked for something I was told they're down such and such aisle if you look for this or that on the left side right side etc... whatever! When I once again checked the aisle and did not find the items and asked yet another person, I was told the same thing and that is "they should be there". Are these people not allowed to leave their post at the counter and actually help you find something?!! I then asked about a balloon package, maybe getting so many latex/mylars put together in a bouquet or column, something I did last year for a graduation. Can you help with this? Nope, they're all individually sold. Nobody is willing to look for anything or help design anything. Three to 4 employees looking bored to tears and not willing to lift a finger to help. My husband asked about a certain latex balloon in the display boxes that was out of stock in the bin and was told "it should be in the bin". We're telling you it's not but asking if there are any more in the back or behind the counter. Once again we were told it should be in the bin. I had a basket full of other balloons, decorations and party plates ready to purchase but I mumbled to my husband, "I'm about to walk out, I'm gonna walk out". This particular clerk kept telling us the latex balloon should be there and I finally just set my basket down and walked out. 3 different clerks with 3 different requests for help and they could NOT be more unwilling to help. I hated to do it because I want to give support locally but thanks to Amazon, my party supplies are covered. If I'm not able to get personal customer service, online...

I pre ordered balloons to pick up. I came probably 20 minutes after the time as the lady I spoke to said it would be fine because I was unsure of the pick up time due to work. My balloons were ready; they just needed to be placed in a transportation bag. I waited for probably 15 minutes as they were blowing up other balloons. No one even asked about my order. Then when they got my balloons after I mentioned it they noticed there was a leak in one. The one girl working took a few minutes to figure out which balloon it was to replace and then argued with the other girl on who was going to blow it up. She said she didn’t want to do it. Both of them then leave it there to blow up other balloons and help out another lady. I noticed several employees they could have called to help since there was a line forming at checkout as well as at balloon pickup. So now I’m at over 25 minutes waiting for balloons that were pre ordered and typing all this up while they still don’t have the balloons in the bag. I’ve been here many times and never see anyone actually try to be efficient or fast. Longest review ever. I also never leave reviews for whatever...

Manager there at 4pm today absolutely infuriated me. I asked the girls blowing it to stop saying the gender for the balloon reveal because it was for my son that was right around the corner and she came up to me saying I needed to go to the back of the store in case the balloon popped? I explained to her my son is 4 and can’t see over the shelves even if it did pop so I didn’t appreciate being told to go to the back of the store. She then proceeded to give attitude because I didn’t want to? Literally told the girls to keep blowing up the balloon and “if it pops it’s not their fault” kept telling them to go bigger and bigger on it. Just ridiculous. It’s just a balloon. The eye rolls and attitude were incredibly unnecessary. Let the girls blow up the balloon and send me on my way instead of making it such a big deal. I didn’t even understand why she had to jump into the situation...
