My husband, daughter, and grandchildren went in after a softball game on 04/05/25. Although it was noisy, I knew it was probably because there were a lot of other families there with young children, most of them wearing sports uniforms. It only made sense to assume that the energy level was therefore high and contributing to the noise level. My first impression was very positive as we were met by a friendly greeter immediately upon entering the door and the area was immaculate. We were seated within about 5 minutes of arrival and asked if selection was okay when being escorted to the table. Our server Maia was very courteous and friendly. She introduced herself and informed us that she had not been working there long which I appreciated. I would not want to unfairly compare her performance to a more seasoned server. Our food arrived seemingly quickly. I could not give an estimate as we were all chatting at the table. There was a brief delay in my grandson getting his drink. I don't recall what he ordered but it was not basic soda. Maia was very good to let us know there would be a delay when she brought our food. She brought the drink, I assume, as quickly as it was available. She checked on us a couple of times while we were eating and when doing so brought coffee to fill my cup in addition to offering refills on sodas. I appreciated that as in my experience, coffee drinkers are often overlooked when servers check back during meals. The food was outstanding and accurately as ordered. My Daughter's request for extra ranch dressing was honored and brought with the food. That was also appreciated as often servers have to be reminded, sometimes multiple times. Overall, it appeared to be a busy day, and I did not see many servers throughout the dining areas. This seems to be a trend at restaurants locally, so I was not surprised. Those that were visible appeared to be working hard to meet demands, which I'm sure can be challenging when there are a lot of children being served. Obviously, I cannot speak for other patrons, but Maia did an excellent job attending to us. I noticed that when a table emptied it was quickly cleared, wiped down, and prepared for another party. That seemed to help a great deal with keeping things moving and decreasing tabling wait time. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the small, stable step that was available under the counter for children and shorter patrons to reach the sink, soap, and paper towels. I had never seen a step in a restaurant before. It is a great idea to facilitate and encourage hand washing. At the conclusion of our meal take-out boxes were brought immediately upon request, again, which I appreciated as it often takes multiple requests when dining out. Although we do not dine out often, in the future, Red Robin on Eagle Rd, Meridian, ID will be on our radar as a go-to for excellent food, excellent service, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. In a time when societal courtesies, and business customer service has significantly declined in my opinion, I appreciate people and businesses that still make an effort. I have consciously committed to only support businesses that strive for both. Afterall, there are many, many restaurants locally and I could spend my money at any of them but why do so at a place that does not prioritize customer service and excellence. Obviously, Red Robin on Eagle Road in Meridian,...
Read moreImagine this senario... It's a Saturday night at the height of dinnertime, a party of 9, including 4 kids, an adult that was actually looking forward to a reuben from Sockeye, and another adult that absolutely has to have her meat practically burnt to ashes, stroll in to dine. So basically, not the easiest group. We weren't exactly sure where to dine after my niece's dance recital, but we landed on Red Robin. I called to make reservations, but they don't take reservations. Instead, you can call ahead and let them know you're on your way 30 minutes ahead of time. I put my name in when we were about 5 minutes away and when we got there, they said it would be about 25 more minutes. Not even 10 minutes later, our table was ready! Nice! Our server, Kiara, was amazing! She was super attentive and on top of everything! When you go out to eat around dinner time on a Saturday night, you're lucky if you get a server even half as good as she was! Even with our massive, complicated order, everything still came out mostly correct. The only thing was I ended up getting the single Ensenada Chicken Platter when I wanted the full, which comes with 2 chicken breasts. No problem! The Din Din Hero, Mackena, who also happens to be the GM, saves the day! I end up getting a no hassle second chicken breast and a salad refill! ❤️ Everything was delicious! I have included a glamour shot of my salad refill. Everyone's food looked so good! Except, I never saw my dad's ribs because he devoured them so fast, but I'm going to assume they looked and tasted very good too. I mean, seriously, they have to be really good for someone to clean a rib bone like that so fast (pic also included). When you have good food and bottomless fries, everyone is happy! So, bottom(less) line, yes, I recommend. 10/10....
Read moreIt pains me to even write this, because the manager Alex was so awesome. The last time I was here years ago, I had a terrible experience. I decided to give it one more try, and unfortunately this wasn't the case. Our server was really nice, helped us with suggestions, and even brought us a basket of chips because our kiddo couldn't decide. We waited over 30 mins for our food, which blows my mind because we were the last table and the place was empty. I saw the food up in the window forEVER, and the server brought us some other fries and chips because it was taking too long. These fries were cold and old. We didn't eat them. By the time we got our food, all of us sent our fries back because all of them were cold and yucky. The burgers were cold. His scorpion burger said it was the spiciest one they had, with three peppers on the menu, and there was zero spice. Maybe a hint, but really very unremarkable and cold. Our server never came to ask us about our food, and the "fresh" fries were sitting in the window again forever while our server was vacuuming. We never got the fries, I told her to go ahead and take them home with her. Then came Alex, who was very understanding and accommodating. We really enjoyed his customer service, and wasn't expecting to not pay for the food, but he insisted. We declined for our food to be remade, or for desserts he offered us, but it was really nice of him to offer, and he gave us some cards for appetizers and desserts which again was really nice of him. Our server was also really nice, and the food itself...
