T. Salon — Local services in Mesa

This is the second time I have had my hair colored and cut at this salon. The first stylist did not cut my hair straight or thin it out as I asked and I had to go back to have it corrected by the owner. This second time, Melzie My stylist completely misquoted me. Quoting me $105 for a partial plus $10 for any additional remixes. As I sat in the chair, she informs me that she "quoted me" full price of $185 which I have the text messages to prove she did not. I went in to have my already blonde hair lightened. I left there with brown hair, darker than I went in with! When I questioned it, she stated that's how it is supposed to be and that my hair would need a few colorings to go light. My hair was already blonde! And I have never needed multiple treatments to lighten my hair. Her only offer was to refund half of my haircut fee of $50 ( That she NEVER) told me about and do a Malibu wash. A Malibu wash is not supposed to be done on recently died hair! This stylist has no idea what she is doing! And further more. I have sent several messages to the salon owner with no response. This a terrible place to have your hair done. Terrible customer service, and terrible stylists that cannot own up to their mistakes. This is MY HAIR! I paid a lot of money, and the least she could do is give me a decent refund of more than $25! I will never have my hair...

I had an appointment this weekend with Cassandra to get a light brown balayage with blonde highlights and a money piece. I even had a inspo photo but my hair came out nothing like how I wanted, I didn’t expect it to look exactly like the photo but it doesn’t even resemble it and it’s not even wearable I can’t fix it up or down cause it just looks terrible. It just looks damaged and brassy, my money pieces are different shades and one is thicker then the other. I spent $260. I understand there’s a lot of work that goes into doing this so I didn’t expect a full refund, i sent her photos of my hair and of what I wanted and I asked for a partial refund and she agreed that things needed to be fixed but said she doesn’t issue refunds but I can go back in and she’ll fix it. I live 45 mins away and I wouldn’t trust them with my hair a second time when it didnt even resemble what I wanted. It’s going to cost me another $165 to get it fixed! I’m frustrated with all the money I spent just to have my hair damaged....

Teresa is AMAZING! Why I have wasted time going to those "big box haircutters" I don't know. Teresa is not only very professional, she is also personable. The decor and atmosphere of her shop are the best. The best experience I have had so far was this evening. Now, TSalon is not a walk in type place, appointments are booked months in advance. I had recently taken my son to one of "those other shops" and man did they do a number to my sons hair. Knowing that Teresa and her staff are experienced I went to her store hoping that she could help. Teresa was super busy with customers, Yet, she made sure that although I had just walked in, we were not turned away. A stylist named Ashlan Kamp was available and let me tell you, "She was GREAT!!"
