UEI College - Mesa — Local services in Mesa

I started school here about a year ago trying to go to the HVAC classes the teacher that they gave me barely showed us anything we didn't really do any work basically sat around and talked the whole time. I paid alot of money for this. So i ended up on Hard Times and couldn't pay the classes and I had to work to pay my bills so I couldn't go back to school and now they want me to pay over $1,000 just so I can finish? and now I'm getting calls from UEI threatening to garnish my wages I wouldn't care so much if I was actually taught something I would be careful going to the school because I would have rather gone to a different Refrigeration School some of the teachers are cool don't get me wrong but the fact that I barely learned anything because of the teacher not wanting to show us nothing or be lazy or hardly wanting to help us and when I brought it to their attention they just brushed It Off and said oh well that's just how he teaches I'm very disappointed and I wish I wouldn't have spent my money I wasted my time there and I was supposed to go through the high school diploma classes and they never mentioned it or brought it up or out I wasn't able to do it for some reason or another when that was a big Main reason for me to go here just so bummed at the fact that I'm not able to finish because of life problems and now they're threatening me I just can't believe it. Went here for Medical Billing and Coding not knowing anything about the field and felt as if no teacher wanted to stay there while the school kept placing a new teacher every few courses with new teaching styles, new algorithms that had to be learned within the short amount of time I was there which made learning a new skill pretty challenging along with having to be put in a externship where I received no hands on experience for the field I studied for and no further explanation on why they couldn't help me find a decent real life experience in a real life clinic. It was as if they were only trying to find me a site to finish my hours with no real life experience for what I went to UEI for a long with career services not trying to work with me on finding a job in the field, I don't know why my case seems different than others but from my personal perspective I feel the need to be helped in a more passionate manner from someone there who really cares about helping me grow in the future. That is just from personal experience as well and I hope more staff don't see anyone else's future as something that shouldn't be taken lightly because they've gave me a lot of hopelessness as far as making it in the field as well as finding a decent job and vouching for me and even genuinely supporting me to get where I'm trying to be in the field with the resources they should be able to help with to get that real...

When I started at this school I felt so good about it. But it did not take long to realize the education department at this school is a literal trash. So many promises to the students while enrolling. But once the financial aid is complete and you make your first payment. Nobody cares about you. Save your time and your money. Then the manipulation from the people in charge just to smooth things over so you don’t call someone higher than them and make a complaint.

There are teachers not even teaching the program they were hired for. So they don’t know what they are teaching. This isn’t public school. Paying that much money to have the school totally fail you is very upsetting. Paying that much money to have an instructor have zero clue what they are teaching. How is that getting you ready for the real world?
