Philly Steak & Wings — Restaurant in Mesa

So I went for the first (and last) time today. My son said this place was the best and the ratings certainly seemed to back that up. I ordered the "large"Philly with just peppers and mushrooms and Provolone cheese and a med drink. The guy asked if I wanted the Monday special instead which was the 10 inch Philly with fries and a drink for 8 bucks. I said no because I didn't want the fries and I wanted the "large" sandwhich. He said ok and then my buddy ordered the same thing and we paid the $20.50 tab. I get my sandwhich at our table and it looked like some anorexic reject from Subway!! So I go to the counter and ask the guy "This is a large?" He says "Yeah, it's the large 10 inch sandwhich" So I said "when you offered me the "Monday special" why didn't you tell me that it was the same size as the large I was ordering?" Instead you charged me $2.25 more per sandwhich and that was without the fries!! Skinny sandwhich, dry assed bread, and ripped off an extra $4.50 to boot!! I only gave it a 1 because the scale didn't go lower. Don't go here if you are hungry and looking for...

I paid $13 for a 10” pastrami meal no lettuce extra tomatoes but got a Tomato sandwich with pastrami The fries taste like they were frozen before they told me the fryer by. There was fingerprints on the door you can tell they was not wiping them on the regular basis. There was someone eating when I walked in and the cashier just wipe the table off a dry rag did not want to chairs you can see the dirt in the crumbs on the chairs. When I brought this to the attention person that called themselves a manager he seem like he got an attitude. After seeing the place was not clean. And my concern is with the germs I didn’t want my food. All of a sudden due to Covid regulations they couldn’t give me my money back or take their food so I’m out of $13. I don’t know who the owner of this place is but they need to get their workers in check. These days with Covid you cannot take any chances in being a restaurant you should be more cleaner I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone especially someone...

I have lived in one of the surrounding apartments since March of 24. I have dogs that I am walking all the time around the area and I always look at this restaurant wondering when i'm going to try it. Last night was the night Saturday October 26. I spent $20 and got the 5" philly cheese steak with onions peppers BBQ sauce mushrooms and American cheese. It was very delicious and good portion size. I also got the 4 wings honey hot very tasty they were great. I really enjoyed the frys as well. I got the combo with the drink it was well worth the $20. I felt like I actually got something for my money instead of how I feel when I go to a chain fast food restaurant. I was greeted when I walked in and it didn't feel like it was forced. Before I left I asked if I could get a refill for the walk back the women and the guy said sure and had a short conversation about living nearby like I put and was told hope to see you again soon.
