This is the worst sushi restaurant I have ever been to! The customer service is horrible and the worst part is the whole ambiance there is just not it! The staff is completely rude and don’t even bother to come around to ask if you need anything and when you do need anything it’s hard to find someone to actually tend to your request. The whole staff just sits around talking in the corners of the restaurant with no care in the world when there are people that I seen needing the service! They don’t tell you but make sure you actually look at the natural sushi’s and ask if they are a whole roll or half I paid more than I would anywhere else for half a sushi that was not worth the price. I had never came here I’ve gone to other sushi restaurants far better than this one! I was not aware that the only whole sushi’s they sell are the fried sushi’s. Overall the experience was the worst if I could rate it a zero I would! Think about coming here before you actually enter this establishment. The waiter ‘Mario’ was the worst! Upon asking for condiments and service he gave a really horrible attitude and judged your character when you ordered or asked for anything else. Im not sure why someone who chooses to act this way with the public continues working there. The other waitresses I didn’t get their names for are super rude as well and don’t care. They complete ignore you! I’d be better off getting up to get my own utentsils, drinks and orders at this point! They will never come to refill your drink running empty nor cater to your table upon requests! Even if you were to ask them to give you anything else they give you the crappiest attitude ever! This is by far one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in Arizona! I will never be coming here again! Thank you for the worst customer service!!! Read moreWe dined in for the first time Saturday night. It wasn't packed at all but there were a handful of tables occupied. We were sat immediately. Our male server approached our table pretty promptly. We immediately ordered drinks and an edamame appetizer. Our server came back quickly with our drinks then we asked for a few more mins on the menu and to allow time for our appetizer. He came back a few mins later, no appetizer but we went ahead and ordered since we were hungry. About 15-20 mins tops a lady approached with our 2 rolls...still no appetizer? I asked her if I could add 1 more roll she says yes and leaves only to come back with our server. I repeated again that I just wanted to add 1 more roll. I ask about our appetizer and he looks towards the kitchen then his notepad? He clearly forgot to put it in! Tells me its coming soon but since some of our food starting coming out I cancelled it! We needed refills but he walked away? I had to put all 3 drinks at the end of the table so he could see we were in need. A couple mins go by and the roll that I added late comes out with another server? Then a few more mins and our fried rice comes out. More time goes by and lastly my 9 year olds chicken tenders come out? You mean to tell me fresh handmade rolls all came out before something from the fryer??? Most customers prefer all their food comes out at the same time but things happen but you would think a good server would put in an appetizer asap and if foods coming out in stages try to get the easiest/kids food out first? We needed refills again but where's our server??? The 3 times he came to our table was for refills, not once to ask how the food was? He may have been able to tell I was visibly upset so it seemed like he ignored our table after everything. It seemed that a group of girls a few tables away had an issue as well? I repeat it in order of Yellowtail sashimi and an order of salmon sashimi. She said she understood and my order would be complete. When I opened up my order at home both orders were wrong. So I called Senor Sushi 1356 West Southern Avenue Mesa Arizona 85202 I was immediately put in contact with the Lila #72 who remember speaking to me regarding my order put me on a brief hold said she talked to the bar tender who said one of my orders was absolutely correct. I said they're both incorrect. She said the bartender said one of your orders is correct. I then told her that if one of them is incorrect that's still not my fault. She replied the bartender said one of your orders is correct. Okay I said then if one of my orders is incorrect that makes the whole order incorrect. She said no just one order is incorrect. I said well then I would like my order correct. She said then you need to come down here and get it. I said I am disabled that's why I had somebody pick it up for me. She said that's my problem. She asked if I'd like to talk to a manager and I said yes. Manager Josh came on the phone and told me there isn't a bartender on duty at this time and if I have a problem with my order than I need to come down and bring it back. I explain to him my situation that I was disabled and I could not and he basically told me that that was my problem he couldn't refund my money and he couldn't rectify my situation. Basically you're SOL. He said I would have to bring back the food to get a refund. I told him I wouldn't be able to get a ride until noon tomorrow and he informed me that I would have to wait till after 5 because nobody there was authorized to give me a refund. From the experience that I gathered from Senor Sushi on 1356 West Southern Avenue in Mesa Arizona 85202 if you don't like or have a problem with the food you received that's your problem!!!!
