I placed an order for 5 shirts for my husband, but only ended up getting 2. They have an in store pick up option that shows what is in stock at your local store...it is very inaccurate. The pick up takes several days to process and the employees in the store had no idea what was going on with the order at all and were overall very inhelpful. When we were finally able to pick up the 2 shirts, they were very different than expected. I do a lot of online shopping, so when I say different...I mean the colors were not even close and the description was misleading unless you read the fine print. "Moisture wicking" does not lead me to think very thick 100% cotton shirt. It is moisture wicking in the same sense that a towel is moisture wicking. I called the store to let them know I thought I had gotten the wrong shirts due to the color difference (my husband picked them up without double checking), and I was met with a very rude employee that kept telling me she would "be happy to return them"...in the most condescending and sarcastic tone possible. I literally just wanted to know if it was possible they had mixed the colors of the same style as they have 15 or so colors of each style and nothing on the tag, online order, or receipt matched to double check this myself. She did not answer my question or try to help at all. I then had to call to see how my payment was going to be handled since I received a partial order because they also cannot help or offer information in the store regarding that either. Read moreI really really hate to leave this review but having to take something back left a bad taste in my mouth. I came in two Saturdays ago getting clothes for my annual awards banquet. I struggled to find clothes that fit and decided to try DXL. Lisa helped me and I enjoyed my shopping experience.
However, a few days later, I went back to return half of what I purchased. The pants were too big and the dress shoes were way too big. This time I had a different associate help me, middle age Caucasian employee . The whole time she acted like it was a big inconvenience. Then she gave me a hard time about returning the items. I told her I only wore the shoes from the inside of the house to the car and back before I had to swap to a different pair because they were too big. the pants She gave me a hard time because I didn’t have a tag but I had the receipt.
I understand and respect Policies, however none of it was mentioned at the time of purchase. And on top of that, she kept telling me she was going to “get in trouble for taking this back”. I felt so embarrassed as people were standing behind me and she was giving me a hard time. I guess I’ll just start going to the Dallas location because they always make you feel welcome and even tell you “if it doesn’t fit bring it back and let’s try something else. “.

She greeted everyone who walked in the store even when she was helping other customers to let us know that she sees you and will be able to assist u as soon as possible. Pleasant attitude and very personable. I didn't need much help, but she showed me all of my options. She will get a person fixed up in no time. I hope they're at least paying her what she's worth because she's definitely an asset to the store. Pretty good selection of fashionable goods as well.
