I parked here to do a nostalgic visit at the Eden Roc Hotel in North Miami. I didn't know if I should pay at the meter even though I have a handicap placard. There were no signs anywhere so I tried to pay at the meter. Even though there were slots for $1 and $5 bills and coins they didn't work so I took the long route on the meter by inputting my driver's license number. I just wanted to park for half an hour, so I put in $1 but the meter wouldn't allow me to choose any options but a flat rate of $20. I cancelled the transaction and got a receipt that states I will get my $1 mailed to me. I won't hold my breath to get it back. Of course when you call a city employees they are bureaucrats that can’t be bothered to help you so they tell me to file something online. It states you will receive a disposition via email. I hear nothing for weeks until I get an increased fee in the mail for not...

Water was clear and not too cold. Weather was great. I hate Miami in general, too crowded and tolls everywhere, but the...
