Bleau Bar — Restaurant in Miami Beach

Just north of Miami's Design District sits Mandolin a fusion of Greek and Turkish epicurean delight with dinning al fresco or inside an old Buena Vista bungalow; with air conditioning.

However once you enter underneath the bougainvillea you are transported to a Greek oasis. Inside Dionysius serves his ambrosia to mere mortals.

We had lunch here and were helped by an incredibly well trained staff; not your typical apathetic Miami wait staff. Our server recommended an excellent Greek white wine, Santorini DOC. It was a top notch recommendation.

We started with the stuffed zucchini. It contained almonds, eggplants, feta and tomatoes. The zucchini was baked and sits in a tomato based sauce with cheese. The dish has two zucchini making it perfect to share. For the entree I had the arugula salad, dates, pistachios, and added chicken. What an absolute gem!! The Bleau Bar is the pumping heart of the world renowned Fountaine Bleau Hotel and those bartenders & Management put on quite a show. The drinks were executed in a timely manner and were amazing!! We, however, thought the mojito was a little too sweet for my wife’s liking, but the Manager, Will was extremely attentive, sympathetic and handled the situation like a pro. It’s honestly refreshing to still see solid Management hasn’t totally disappeared in Miami Beach. My wife tends to be a handful, but Will turned her frown upside down and I will only take my friends & family to have pre-dinner cocktails at the Bleau Bar purely on the service aspect of their operation. Great place to have a drink by the pool. Nice spot for people watching. I had a Miami Vice with a floater. The best way to go. Bartenders are very nice and professional. Gratuities are included but they're sure worth the additional. It was my second time visiting Miami, and I was fascinated by the glamour of the Fontainebleau and enjoyed listening the history of the hotel by the bartenders. They were my guide. I got to enjoy my visit more because they direct me to all the fun places in Miami, including LIV. Awesome people. Great vibe. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place for great drinks...
