Do Not Go To Lisa. She will not listen to what you want to focus on AND she will use her entire bodyweight to walk on your back no matter how small you are!

I specifically told Lisa that I wanted to focus on my neck and upper shoulders. What did she focus on… everything else. I only paid for 30 minutes to focus on this area because I needed a quick relief massage before work. She gave no relief at all. In fact, while she was walking on my back, I literally told this woman that she was hurting me and she didn’t stop or lighten up, she just shouted out that my back is tight. And!!!! Like I know it’s tight but you literally causing me pain is not about to fix it, especially when you are putting your full weight on my spine! She had no regard for me and it showed.

I literally spoke out about wanting to focus on my neck and she ignored it. At the end of the massage she had the audacity to say was everything ok?! I said no because my neck is still hurting and she didn’t really do anything to help it. And you know what she said…. ‘Well your 30 minutes is up so next time you need to book more’ which is when I said my neck is literally what I came in here for was my neck. Easy to book an appt. Called and was seen 30 mins later. I love DEEP tissue massages. I want the massage therapist to workout knots and tension in my upper back; I’m not afraid of pain! I love it!

My therapist was Jessica.

As someone who gets massages frequently, you cant tell if a massage therapist is right for you, really, but you can gather enough based off their pressure, techniques and capabilities.

Jessica is great! Pressure was strong, she walked on my back, listened when I asked to go softer (I didn’t have to tell her to go stronger - thank you lord haha).

Timing is important as well, I want my money’s worth. It seemed like she went over an hour by a minute or two.

I’m not sure if Jessica is my girl, yet 😉 but I will try a few other Massage Therapists before I decide which...

I’ve been going to Oriental Massage for over 4 years now at least once every 2 months but just wanted to add another review because they’re just truly remarkable. Not only have I always had an amazing experience, but multiple people I’ve brought here over the years have said it’s truly the best massage they’ve ever received. I’ve traveled all over the world and I’ve gotten fancy, expensive massages from spas at luxury hotels, etc but to be honest this little place in Miami is still the best. I went there after a couple of injuries I’ve had over the years as well and they really helped me to feel better and be back on my feet quicker.
