Because of the convenient location (close to Brickell), we decided to buy a watch from this store, versus driving to Sunset Place. Unfortunately, when my BF brought home the watch, it looked nothing like the one I saw on Macy's online. Furthermore, the watch wasn't boxed correctly (i.e., it had the WRONG tag and WRONG description on the box's sticker). Nonetheless, I called the store to see about exchanging it, but wanted to make sure what I wanted was available before driving back to his store since parking can be a nightmare. The owner answered and stated that he was 'too busy' to check and basically hung up on me. I called back - figuring he accidentally disconnected the line - but...he flat out refused to to check his inventory over the phone and told me that I needed to come to the store. I politely explained the situation with the parking, yet...he still refused/declined to check. I asked what the return policy was, and he said that he 'did NOT have to return or exchange anything [to me]'. Then??? he hung up again. Well...needless to say, I had to call the cc company and dispute the transaction in order to get a refund. I also had to question the authenticity of the watch, since it looked nothing like the one I ended up buying at Macy's and it wasn't even...

Called this shop to ask how much they charge for watch strap adjustment. The owner was rude and short tempered on the phone, which should have been the first warning flag.
Took two watches in to get them adjusted. The owner's temperament was no better in person. On coming to collect them, I tried them on and they seemed very loose. Asked the owner if he could adjust them again, to which he refused, saying they would be 'too tight' if he removed another link. Not knowing much about watches I took his word for it. When I paid he literally threw my card back at me across the table, which I almost burst out laughing at because it was so ridiculous.
Obviously I was completely unsatisfied, so I eventually decided to buy a $7 watch strap kit online. Removed a link from each watch, and surprise surprise - they fit perfectly. The owner just couldn't be bothered to adjust the links a second time to actually give me...
Read moreI had a technical problem with my Bulgari watch, I went to see Bulgari for a repair quote, and I went to see Robin In The Grove to compare the quotes. Robin In The Grove's service was much cheaper, and I preferred their professionalism, and I like to rely on their years of experience with watches from major brands. Unfortunately, I have no confidence in the expertise of employees of major brand houses in Miami, as their employees have no training and no « savoir faire ». I don't blame them, it's just Miami that is still young in terms of professionalism. I much prefer local family businesses. Next time I won’t bother...
